It's an old garret off a 7.3. I have tons of them laying around and decided to make a hitch out of it. Lola63f2665e7497025edbf6273a78a3d1e.jpg

93 518. I blew up my first 518 and just put a rebuilt 518 back in it.

Why not a 48re? Or have you beefed up the 518? Do you have the trans shifting automatically? On my trans swap I’m going with a manual valvebody for shifting

If I could afford it I want a built 47rh 4wd trans and case. Until I can find a trans to build and some money to pay for it im stuck with what I've got. This 518 is rebuilt but I'm not sure to what extent. It shifts automatically but is mechanical. I control OD with a switch.

It was that time. Truck wouldn't align cause the bushings were worn out in the lower control arms. Decided to buy new ones and a new rack and pinion. As well as 4 new door handles. All that stuff is 11 years old and the original parts. Hopefully she drives nicely now. 71e84ae8e4adb0f255ca8d825617443e.jpg5101c9f32b701e65d1bf4d52d88b8aba.jpg

She's perfectly aligned now. Added this as well. 37 gallon transfer tank with an electric valve. I can flip it going down highway and transfer fuel into my actual tank. I have to shorten my toolbox up from the bottom about 3 inches to clear it. 70e593f9cb9d8125ab75168fefde3547.jpg20502766fdf80f9f6703c076784ebd95.jpg530cd9a121cdac7d7509ca3ab1c11741.jpg

Can't stop buying stuff. ‍♂️

Bought a fuel level sending unit and fuel gauge for my auxiliary tank. Shortened my toolbox as well.

Got the tank level sending unit in. Just waiting on the gauge. I have an idea on gauge placement you guys might like. I'll show that later though.

Also I'm building 6 foot long traction bars for my truck. Using these ends. They are off a 05 1500 4x4 with a lift kit. I just cut them down to use the ends since the bushings are brand new. Will update that all soon as well.

Sounds small as well but I started using a windshield heat shield during the day at work. I have to say I don't know how I ever went without using one. I can actually touch my steering wheel now at the end of the day after work. Truck cools down with the A.C. so much faster now. Well worth it. It says dodge too. Went and found the frame brackets off that dodge. Fits my frame perfect. Welded some 1/4" steel pieces on them to weld to the frame later. I still need to clean and pretty them up. I'm gonna round the brackets as well. Should work good though. So far I've spent nothing on this. [emoji108]
