What's the best UCA to get with a set of Bilstein leveling struts?

Looking to level my 2017 4x4 big horn this weekend.

Best place to order from?

Found idparts has mevotech with struts for $305.

Screw it. Ordered them. Did some reading here and looks like I can even use this with my 4" lift down the road.

I read it's a good idea to get the UCAs for the stress the level kit can apply on the balljoint.

I was also reading I can use these with a 4" lift later when I do that.

Now I got to figure out if I want to do wheels and tires now or wait to do the 4" kit.

I'd like to run Toyo 35" tires.

Do you know if this combo fits for a 5.7 4x4 set up, 2016 and higher? Is shows on the website for the 3.0 ED

This kit has me wondering because the mevotechs that others buy here are merely stronger stock replacements with no geometric changes to accommodate for angles due to lifting.

I have a new set of Mevos at home that i never used and went with Zones because they do correct for angles.

This kit doesn’t mention part numbers so you should call and ask them what your getting?

Fits any Ram 1500 regardless of engine up 2018.
From the website..

The Mevotech upgraded upper control arms have improved gemetry designed to be used when lifting the front of the vehicle over 2.5 inches. OE factory control arms will over-extend when lifted farther than 1 inch.

The Mevos are not any good for bils leveling? I thought everyone was going with them cause they were... Any interest in selling yours?

So here is my thing, I have read a bunch of threads on bils and UCAs supposedly the UCAs were different (better?) in the 09-12 (mines a 12) but then 13-14 were having the ball joint popping issue with the bils at 2.8 and supposedly 15+ something was changed with the stock setup so that the balljoint pop was not an issue. Because of all this information, some of it very conflicting because internet... I decided to just throw the bils on and see what happens, which I guess is not always the smartest choice. I just cannot find concrete information on my 2012 and whats what lol even my build sheet/owners manual appears to have inaccurate information...

The mevo techs are just a direct aftermarket replacement for factory UCA”s. They do not have improved geometry but they are a little more heavy duty and have a better joint on them. Zone”s UCA”s have the above but they also have better geometry. Rough country has a set of UCA”s that have an altered geometry for lift but I don’t know if they sell them as a stand alone product.

Members who have the newer stamped steel arms buy the Mevos because the ball joints won’t pop out, they do not correct any geometry. That’s why I bought a set, before I decided to lift instead of just level.

Shipping would cost too much, they are very heavy. You can buy them for about $45ea, try rockauto

Here’s the stock UCA’s with the Zone arms for comparison

Beefy! Wow. I wonder if I can get my money back for the arms as they are NOT as described.. Zone sell the UCA by themselves?

I'd probably get a set of Carli UCA for that price of a ready lift. Yikes.
