I looked up Borla 400486. You paid only $141? If so, that's a bargain.

Seriously, how much lighter than stock?

Is it safe to assume there is no drone?

did you replace it? Looks like it just slips over the exhaust pipes?

I'm going to. I'll likely order one this week. It snaps onto the hanger that's on the truck just in front of the muffler and attaches to a hanger that's actually on the OE muffler.

I haven't noticed anything since my install but I don't imagine they would have put it there just for fun and extra cost-to-build lol.

I got it from Nick@GotExhaust, hes a vendor on here. I believe I paid roughly $140 for the muffler, $20 for the extension pipe, maybe $10-$15 for all the new clamps (mine could've been reused I think but nah), and it took maybe 2 hours, but I'm slow and sore so I took a lot of breaks.

I didn't weigh it, if I had to give a real guess, id guess 25-30 pounds, its quite a difference in size, if I get bored ill try and weigh the old one to compare.

No drone that I can hear and when MDS kicks on it doesn't sound bad. I had a 2012 Sierra with MDS and a Magnaflow, when MDS kicked on it would vibrate the whole truck,

Just got done removing and reinstalling after grinding down the alignment pins and taking a little more off the extension pipe. Everything is flush and perfect now.

For anyone wondering, I weighed myself holding each muffler and I came up with a 21 pound weight difference.

Yea but what’s the ‘beer factor’ and which one did you weigh first? If you weighed one on empty and the other after a six pack, your numbers will be way off! [emoji6]

Thanks for the reply, Mark.
