Anyone with a 2017 white ram SLT that has plasti dipped their chrome bumper and grill surround?

Looking to see if anyone has done this. I just got my first 2017 Ram 1500 SLT recently and have been thinking of dipping the chrome grill surround and the chrome bumpers. Just was curious what it would look like if anyone has done it.

I'm slowly blacking out all my chrome with plasti dip. I recommend you take the parts of and spray them so you get good coverage in all the creases. so far I have done the grill, both bumpers, running boards, and tailgate emblems.

Looks good. Did you sand it smooth or leave texture?

I left the texture. I like the matte finish look. I did 6-8 coats 30 min apart.

How hard is it to keep the front end bumper/grill clean from the bugs when you wash it?

I remember it was annoying as fooq for parts dipped on my moto. Maybe i needed more layers?
