Does the PC help (or hurt) fuel efficiency at all? I haven’t even heard of this thing until I became active on this forum sight so just trying to research as much as I can.
Your foot controls the MPG. It is no way linked to the PCM or in any way a “tune”. It has over 40 settings, ECO, CITY, SPORT, SPORT+...in those settings you can adjust even more. I run SPORT at a +1 level. It makes the truck very responsive to pedal input. You still control the fuel flow so your SMILE affects the MPG.
If you line up 2 Identical Rams, one with PC and one stock...take out the human element factor, the PC truck will out accelerate the stocker everytime. It is like having a cheat for reaction time, so power comes quicker. When you are on the freeway and need to pass, it feels ALIVE, not waking up from a slumber...

It does have a negative side, but once you learn the throttle response in your chosen settings, it becomes a non-factor. The pedal is SENSITIVE to your input. So the tight parking spot takes relearning. Because of the “enhanced” throttle response, it will seem jumpy to a novice and there may be a few instances of you boiling the tires or the missus getting a faceful of tea...Yes the tea incident happenned to me, I had to blame myself and not the $300 part I put on she knows nothing about....

I love my PC and I'm Greene tuned. It's nice to be able to adjust the responsiveness on the fly. My wife has never liked how "touchy " the throttle is with the Greene tune so with the PC I can put it in Eco mode when she drives it. For me with my tuning, I've settled on City +1. Very responsive but not jerky. If I put it on Sport+ +4 it will chirp the tires at will lol

These responses above just about covered it. once you get used to it and stop hot rodding with it mpg will be about the same as without it. however the drive ability of your RAM will be way better! The truck will feel much faster.

My "tea incident" was a "lipstick incident"..lol I usually tap the brakes to mess than her and of course get snapped at kiddingly. I saw an opening with a clear road, the tube came out and as it got close to the lips the WhytRam jumped foreward,( sport +3) and a streak appeared across her face! It actually worked!!! Needless to say I was in the doghouse for a bit even though, " sorry babe, my foot slipped and I hit the gas too hard".
In MY truck its a stealth pedal commander

I've had my PC installed for almost a year now. Every Ram owner I run into, I tell them how they need this thing.
A coworker of mine was very much on the skeptical side (He owns a 13' 1500 QC) and would tease me about how I wasted $$$ when I could "just push on the accelerator a little more". Earlier this last spring, I made a deal with him: I'll let him try it for a week then he's got to give it back. If he buys one, he owes me $50.
I knew the pain he was going to be in cause I felt it that entire week without. (It had been on city 3 and tucked away since install). Long story short, (while he won't admit it), I'm pretty sure he'd ordered one for himself after his first drive home w/o the PC and I made $50.
So find yourself a naysayer, you might just make a couple bucks while doing them a favor.

Several weeks ago, I was at a campground ready to hitch up my TT to head back home. Turned on the truck and put it into drive. The RPMs wouldn't go over 1000 and the truck was just limping. Engine light was on and I didn't have my O BD2 scanner. My only option was to disconnect the PC completely and remove it. Turned the truck back on and the engine was revving like normal. Engine light went off during the trip home but a throttle position sensor code remains when I check it with my home scanner. I cannot clear it either. Appointment has been made with the dealer for that and some recall stuff next week. The service adviser asked me on the phone if I drive with both feet. I told him I only use my right foot. I didn't divulge that I installed a throttle position bypass device several months ago. Haven't hooked up the PC since. Am waiting for the service appointment first. Anyone else have issues with limp mode and the device throwing codes?

Just got back from vacation and read this. Awesome. I read it to the missus and she was laughing her ass off.

That is the beauty of this device. The adjust ability is unparalleled by any other product and it really does wake these trucks up

Just installed my pedal commander (Thanks Nick@gotexhaust!). 2 minutes in the parking lot, then 30 minutes to drive around and play.
I have it on sport minus 2. The truck now behaves like it should. Likely I will move it up as I get used to it, but for now it simply makes the truck feel Normal. My wife could drive this. Feels like a cable driven carb engine with a nice accelerator pump.
Without the PC she is a sluggish porker that needs a good kick in the ass to get her moving. That to me is ABnormal.
