    Hi Nick,

I apologize, as I understand that repeat trips to the dealer can be frustrating, but I am unable to escalate this case without an appointment set at the dealer. Our case managers work in tandem with the dealer while your vehicle is in service. Please let us know once you have an appointment set for further assistance. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I have not. I have a few issues with dropping it off for an undetermined length of time. I am a PMP/EE who is in and out of industrial plants during the day. Due to this, some of the plants I visit require my vehicle to be registered with the plant and of course there is the insurance issue. Not only that but I commute on and off toll roads all day. So, the loaner vehicles don't have toll tags, I'm relatively sure the 10M insurance (both company and personal just because) level is a no go and even if I get past that there are some plants that just won't allow a non registered vehicle. So I have to wait until I can take time off (some vacation right) to bring it in with no guarantee for a timeline for repair.

So these guys don't want to help either because Texan did the initial work. Who do I need to talk to so I can get someone that is franchised to Ram to actually work on my truck. I am to the point where I want a refund for the lifetime Mopar warranty as it appears that your dealers are not interested in actually honoring it. Of course they will say that is due to Ram's lack of or push back against paying for any factory build issues.

    Hi Nick,

I apologize for any inconvenience that you have encountered. However, dealers are independently owned and operated, and therefore it is up to the dealer's discretion if they choose to service a vehicle. As previously stated, once you have an appointment with the dealer, I am happy to escalate your case to a specialist. To find Ram dealers near you, you can enter your zip code here: https://www.ramtrucks.com/find-dealer.html

So you have an issue the dealer didn’t want to fix, escalated to RAMCare who will assign a specialist if you take your vehicle back to a dealer, but you can’t/won’t due to rental issues? What’s wrong with your vehicle?

To get full service on this fault you'll have to work out the rental vehicle access issues otherwise Ram can't go forward.

I live in Houston so as it goes I purchased the truck from a dealer on the south west side. Doesn't sound like a big deal but that 35 miles can equate to an hour plus (and I mean plus x 5) depending on the time and day. Tried using the closer dealer and with the second oil change had them *repair* the Rambox fascia that was coming off. Fun fact, that first trip took three days total as they forgot to change the oil. After the third attempt at fixing I reached out via this forum to see if FCA would assist. So it gets better as I tried to arrange an appointment at the dealership I purchased from with the condensed result being they do not care to work on problems that other dealerships started with as FCA does not reimburse them. To make it more interesting the first dealership decided it was time to have a management restructuring so the manager I was dealing with is gone and the current group is ignorant of what is going on. To make a long story short, two different dealerships are not interested in dealing with the warranty work and will make an appointment with the condition that they may decide not to do any repairs while holding the vehicle for 3-5 days to observe. The vehicle is drivable (not by me when it's sitting in a Ram parking lot) so no loaner (per FCA). I live in Houston and have to deal with toll roads daily (no tag in loaner). I visit multiple plants daily so other issues arise with this and loaner vehicles. So like most folks here I dealt with it myself. If anyone needs any information on how/what I did feel free to reach out. I will say that I'm sitting on the second attempt so I understand what kept the first dealership from being successful, but what I have real issues with is how even on one truck, I have differences in adhesion between the two covers and further more between the wheel well flares.

I spent $4500 for the Mopar lifetime warranty which I had with my previous truck. At the time in 2009 it was free and used as bonus. I love my truck and purchased it because I wanted the best set up stock off road vehicle I could get. We like to take trails and camp so there is no comparison when it comes to towing/off-roading capability. It just aggravates me to no end that anything with double stick tape on this is just waiting to fall off.

I hope this didn't come off as first world bit@^y, and I really don't want folks to think I can't wrench for myself, but when dealing with privately owned franchised businesses, it's a crap shoot for actual motivation to help.

I do my own wrenching/fabrication on all of my other vehicles so this is about an expectation of realizing the service that everyone at the dealership tries to sale you on at the time of purchase.

^not unreasonable to have them fix things on a $50,000 item you also got an extended warranty on.
