I have a 2006 Ram 1500. I’ve owned it for about a month and realized that I have no tow hooks in the front. I want to add a receiver to the front for a tow point and for use with my bike rack while towing camper.

Is Curt the only manufacturer for my truck?

How hard is installation, is it difficult to drill through frame to mount it?

If you have one are you happy with it?

Well, I installed a front hitch and it was pretty easy and turned out well.

Did you find one for a 2wd truck.
I put one on my truck, but screwed up and it is for a 4wd. So it sets low and have to be careful when going over curbs, or dips in the driveways.
I'm thinking of a way to modify the hitch.
I haven't look for a 2wd hitch, feel dumb for getting the wrong one.

I installed a Curt Model 31320. It didn’t specify if it was 2wd or 4wd. It doesn’t sit much lower than bumper.
