Did you have to use any flicker/canbus adapter?
I've already tried one set of LEDs but they wouldn't even work with the adapters.

No. They sent a set of cancellors just in case the canbus took over but tried out leds without and been working great. Simple plug n play, all fits in oem fixture with no holes or anything.
Much Brighter lighting on road, no flicker or anything. I've been paying attention since they sent cancellors but all good!!!

I've been using the OPT7 Fluxbeam-X bulbs in my lows and fogs for about a year. I've been extremely happy with them. WAY brighter than the stock bulbs and through light farther down the road. Road signs light up from much farther away.

I was able to fit everything into the light housing. It's a tight fit, but it works. I haven't notice any issues with condensation or heat.

I can second the Opt-7 FluxBeam-X LED kits. Ive been using them in my Ram off and on for about 18 months now. I have them in my Lows/Highs/Fogs right now but they will be coming out within the next 2 weeks once my retrofit is done. Im putting the Morimoto M-LED Projectors into a pair of OEM Quad housings and im also putting in a bunch of other goodies aswell!!!

EDIT: Oh and the Opt-7 FluxBeam, FluxBeam Core and FluxBeam-X LED Kits all come with Anti-Flcker Capacitor kits and all 3 styles will fit under the dust cap so no need for drilling or any of that stupid nonsense. I personally have the FluxBeam-X style and love them. Simply amazing lighting for the price and for people who dont want to do a full retrofit.

If you are going to be selling those any time soon, please let me know.

I have the DD SL1s, too. Much better than halogens. I had to pay $190 shipped to my home. I had to get canbus modules since it's a 2018.

I have a 2018 2500 with quad lights, I'd be interested in a set of these. Are the canbus adapters required for 2018?

Right now, the H11 SL1 is on "backorder" for 6-8 weeks, not good. What if you need a warranty replacement, you drive with headlight(s) out for 8 weeks?

Pretty sure they are needed, I have SL1 (highs & lows) on my 17 but didn't test to see if they would work w/out the anti-flicker modules. I hear you on the back-order concern, took 8 weeks to receive mine (was worth the wait). I held on to my OEM bulbs for use as backups should they be needed to hold me over until a warranty replacement arrives. Thus far, I could not be happier w/ the SL1s, outstanding lighting upgrade & I have been running them for over a month now. Given Diode Dynamics great reputation, I would think warranty replacements are prioritized over new sales. Doubt there would be much of a wait for a new SL1 if you did experience a failure.

I've got the SL1 H11 sitting in a box waiting to be installed. Had them for a week now, took 3 weeks to get them from DD website even though it said 7-8 week backorder. But i'ts been 107F the last 5 days in North Texas and I'm not about to install them right now. They can wait.

Do you have any recommendations for projectors? I have tried OPT7 for low beam and returned after a week. They were much brighter but the light path was really short. It was not focused on the road.

I have projectors as well. What is the best led/hid for projectors? I want a good beam pattern and a bright white color. Sounds like a lot of led are great for reflectors but suck in a projector

The SL1 for projectors by Diode Dynamics. Unless something else hits the market that catches my eye more I'll be installing this brand soon

I'm in the same boat. Looking for LED's and I have the projector housing. I was looking at the bulb size thread and I'm not sure if I have the quad light housing or dual light housing? Seems like quad. Can anyone confirm?

Edit: I have two different bulbs in the housing so it appears quad.

Just looking for recommendations on some brands for projector housing then. So far I've seen Diode Dynamics SL1 and Headlight Revolution's Supernova V3 listed here.

Both companies have YouTube videos of their installs which is solid

These things aren't cheap either, I have to buy the low, high and fog lights. Three separate lights, too bad I don't have the dual headlights lol. Time to set some cash aside. I may do it in the fall.

SL1's are $450 for the fogs/high/low and I think the supernovas might be a little more, but I only see the supernova's in H11 for low beams, no 9005/HB3 high beams or H10/9145/9140 for fogs.

For $60 more go with the Morimoto Sealed Led fogs. Much better beam pattern

Saw this in the supernova description "NOT FOR USE WITH OEM PROJECTOR-STYLE HEADLIGHTS THAT WERE AN OPTION ON THESE TRUCKS!"

So I guess that eliminates those lol

I had to wait 6 weeks too until I got them.

Yeah, if you need a replacement, that would be an issue. Hopefully, by the time you'll need one, they'll have plenty in stock.

I've been using them for almost two months without any problems and I didn't hear people complaining about them.

I have all my rear LEDs ordered. Anyone know when the SL1 low and highs usually come back in stock?
