Need help please

Hey guys,I’m new here and need help asap,I bought a 07 Ram Laramie last weekend from a private seller and now my ESP BAS and the Brake light are on,not all the time but it turns on and off,sometimes turns on when I start the engine and left idling and the Truck drives and runs normal at any speed,this is new for me I was a Ford guy but I got say this Ram is awesome

Welcome!

Get a code reader on it. Even if the trouble lights are not on at the time, there should be stored codes. If you don't have one of your own most of the chain auto parts stores (Autozone, Advance, O'Reillys, etc) will check the codes for free. Once you've got the codes post them here and it's much more likely someone will be able to help.

Thanks,I’ll stop by an Advance tomorrow to scan,just an update,I see I got a leaking power steering cooler,so I got low fluid,maybe is this the problem?

Thanks,I’ll stop by an Advance tomorrow to scan,just an update,I see I got a leaking power steering cooler,so I got low fluid,maybe is this the problem?

I don't think that would light the Brake light, but it could be for the other. Top it up and see. But I'd still get the codes scanned.

The lights you're getting indicate a sensor, one of the fronts (if you have 4 wheel ABS) or the sensor in the differential. Power steering has nothing to do with the ABS and ESP (traction control) systems whatsoever.

So I had it scanned at Advance and everything is fine just 2 estored codes C1009 low brake fluid,P1521 incorrect engine oil type,the light was off today and the brake fluid was a little low
