Just got my '19 and it has more chrome on it than I'm used to. Should I be applying wax to the chrome or should I use something else to keep it clean/protected?

Don't use wax, it won't last long and it'll attract dust and dirt to it. Use a sealant. It'll last longer and be easier to clean bugs and crap off of it.

After washing, I'd give it a once over with some chrome polish by Megs or Mothers, both can be found at Walmart, etc, then apply the sealant to it.

Another option is to apply a coating to it for better durability and easier cleaning. It won't last as long as it does on paint but it won't matter with how easy the maintenance will be.

I can attest - the H2O guard and gloss is incredibly awesome. I bought a gallon of it earlier this year because I love it so much.
