That's just plain crazy! I'm sitting here going over the truck in my head wondering WHERE that could even be coming from and the windshield is the only place. Does it have the original windshield? In the bottom right corner there's a Mopar logo if it is. If it was replaced and they didn't seal it correctly... water can be coming from anywhere on it.

There is a ram logo on the passengers bottom corner, and a mopar logo in the bottom center.
No matter where it’s coming from it’s traveling a lot! I haven’t noticed any other secondary issues at this time.

That sounds like the original windshield. I can't imagine it's leaking there then.

Is your headliner wet in the front ?the front of the console isn't attached to actual body in any way at the front.the rear has a bracket attached to the floor. It's sets high off the floor so it coming from above.if the headliner is wet I would say maybe sat anntena.if not winshield.I doubt it would be seem sealer.could be ac drain plugged and it's backing up running down the ducts and in the console.has to be one of,these three things.

It must be coming from the volt plug in, there is no other evidence showing.

Water only leaks in while truck is sitting in heavy rain, not driving and not while in car wash? So only with prolonged exposure to heavy rain. No other areas are wet? You’re sure it’s not dripping from the overhead console?

The fresh air vent is between the hood and the windshield if I remember. Maybe leaking through there? While driving it won’t go there because the water would go over the vents but sitting would be able to drain down? Just a thought

The overhead is dry and shows no water damage.

I’ve only noticed water twice. I’ll be leaving the plastic liner out for a while. It rained last night but no water was there.

Yeah the overhead console would be my only thought. Reason I asked if level cause I thought maybe it was leaking at the third brake light and traveling to the front, leaking out he overhead console

Can you pull down the overhead console a bit and look for condensation?

This video shows how starting at about 1:50

I don’t see how else rain would only get into the center console without the footwell carpet also getting wet.

Well crap. How comfortable are you with removing the center console? I believe there are YouTube videos or someone here can direct you. There is a small panel on the side of the console, above the side pockets, that might give you a view inside the console.

I’m not overly comfortable, but I’ll poke around and see what might come off.

That’s awesome! I popped the small panel on the drivers side, from what I can see it looks dry. I’ll watch the video and tear into it tomorrow.

Thank you so much!!

I've heard of them leaking around the SXM/GPS antenna. Just try to wiggle it to see if it's loose.
