Got my f150 end links in, used the napa brand, didnt have moog in stock. In regards to the bottom bolt that connects to the control arm, how many threads did you get through. I tightened as much as it could and only have two or three thread past the end of the nut on each side. The tops i threaded to match the pictures i found, didn't want to put excessive tightening and squish anythjng

I think my buddy with hellwig front and moog f150 links had the same issue

have you driven on it yet?

Yeah, still heard a little popping and banging, nothing like the stock endlinks, but i tightened the top before the bottom, going to try loosening the top and cranking the bottom when i get home.
Whats the part # for rear bilsteins, going to keep the front stock, but will swap the rears to kyb, eibach, bilstein etc.
Here's how it turned out.

The part #'s are in the pic. You will need 4 bushings & 4 sleeves. The shocks dont come w/ the right size bushings & sleeves for our trucks. They are easy to swap though. The rear are the 5100 series shocks in the pic

Check to make sure your driveshaft isnt rubbing on the gas tank shield. That happens at times also.

Took the top of the front ends loose, cranked the bottoms tight as they'd go, now i have a good amount of threads and it seated right. Went on a test drive down the bumpy ass roads to my house and up to 70 on the highway, no noises or shakes. Seems to track straight. Will order some rear shocks when I get my next check and get the truck aligned.

Everybody installs Moog front sway bar endlinks from a 2008 F150. The shorter endlinks relevel the sway bar & stop alot of bumpsteer that you get w/ the stock endlinks on a lowered truck. I'm sure Belltech knows after all these yrs. The lowering kits on the market are just mainly starter kits just enough to get the truck down the road w/ a lowered look. To perform well they are missing rear control arm relocation brackets, good shocks & shorter front sway endlink

anyone have the part numbers of the moog front end links and rear control arn brackets

hoping to install my bell tech 2/4 kit w qa1 shocks soon. Still a couple tools i need and good jack and jack stands

Moog # k80337 i believe. I used the napa version and they work great, but i have to redo em cause u tightened too much and cracked a boot. I did kyb monomax shocks for my front and rears ordered a pair of 565038 rear that kyb recommended for the 4 inch drop, and they have the same style ends as factory, and 565127 for the front which are stock replacements. I cross referenced the size for the 565127 with bilstein i believe, shocks that several ramforum members use. The kybs were a huge improvement over the stock shocks, cleared up a lot of the vibration.I finally got the spohn adjustable panhard bar in, got the wheels pretty center left to right, still tweaking it, have some minor vibrations in the 55-66 range, not terrible.

I am running a basic Mcgaughy kit on my 17 Ram, still have the stock shocks and the ride is very good. I see no problems with steering but I do bottom out in the rear with a heavy load in the bed. Looking to find some Bags for the rear.

Circuit guy, you got any pics of how your control arms underneath look, I'm curious what their angle is with the mcgaughey 2/4 vs the belltecglh.

A 4" drop is a 4" drop when it comes to the locating arms. Doesn't matter who's rear springs you use,if they give a 4" drop the arms will still be pointing uphill towards the rear of the truck, the exact same amount .

Do I have this right; you need the spohn adjustable panhard bar to square the rear, and the $500 rear correction kit from illicit to bring the rear wheels back to the center of the wells?

Yup. Adjustable panhard is for side to side & Illicit brackets are for centering it front to back, instant center, pinion angle & better overall rear geometry

I'd avoid the Spohn panhard bar,Core makes a better adjustable panhard bar then Spohn does, but it's also more money

I mean, when I realized I have to throw down $300 for the belltech 2/4, get separate shocks for another $200, $600+ to square the rear and get my traction back... price indexes went out the window. I want it done right, so I'm going to budget it out. Quality>Time

These trucks are expensive to lower right due to the factory rear 4 link and there isnt a complete big name kit for these trucks. All the big name companies such as Belltech or Mcgaughys dont have the right parts included in their kits to correct the rearend geometry & they need to step it up & supply a complete SAFE kit for us.

The only complete kit for us right now is Inez but its a 3/5 through a 4/6 kit. I'd like to see a complete 2/4 kit come out.

At the very least do a spring only kit, 2008 Ford F150 front sway bar endlinks(shorter than Ram), an adjustable panhard, good rear shocks(QA1 or Viking) & Illicit or Inez brackets. Thats a good start. If you tow get rear helper bags to help hold the load. Then if you want more get a rear Hellwig sway bar, better front shocks & Core upper & lower control arms.

Moes has some GREAT deals on lowering parts right now for Black Friday. If you need anything now is the time to buy it

May want add the airlit 1000 bags #60824. I had an issue with bottoming out after i put the illicit brackets in, the bumpstop cups were hitting. One of the guys here recommended adding them. Easy install, rides better, got em off amazon for 75
