Griots garage for synthetic clay, lubricant.

Wolfgang for paint sealant and exterior trim sealant.

Meguiars synthetic wax.

P21s for tire cleaner and rims, and engine.

Maxima sc1 is great as an additional layer for bugs to wipe off easier.

My truck is an off-road work truck so my "detail kit" is whatever wash product is/was on sale at Advance Auto Parts and some rags/towels from Harbor Freight. Everything fits nicely in a Home Depot bucket. I do pay more attention to the windshield so have a couple of different exterior/interior glass cleaners.

Pinnacle, Adams buttery, Mother’s, Gold class, ext. I have tried them all. Best results to my eyes I ever got was using
NXT 2.0 and topping it off with PS21.

One of my co-workers swears by Chemical Guys and he drives a E350 so I tend to believe him. I have always used Mequires but may switch as I run out.
Here is my small Chemical Guys arsenal

That would be a few steps down, trust me. If you want to step up from Megs try Griot's garage stuff.

I've personally used Adam's, Chemical Guys, Griot's Garage, Mother's, Turtle Wax, and Meguiar's pretty extensively. If I had to choose a favorite I think it'd be Adam's followed by Chemical Guys if you're talking the professional grade-products. As far as off the shelf products you can get at Wal-Mart or Autozone I don't think you can go wrong with Griot's or Meguiar's. Honestly you just have to try things out and figure out what works best for you. I've used products from each of these companies that I like, and some that I don't particularly care for. So I find what works best, and then roll from there. I don't use one brand exclusively just because.

I have a random mish mash of stuff I've gathered over the last few years. ..

I tried several Griots machine polishes for paint correction on my old 2500 and wasn't impressed. They were dang near impossible to get off, even when spraying detail spray on it to help cut it. I ended up throwing them away. I do like their Spray Shine detail spray, though. Mainly because it smells yummy.

The last paint correction I used was Pinnacle XMT series and it worked pretty well.

I like Klasse all-in-one for a quick wipe on, wipe off polish. The Klasse sealant glaze works decent but I want to try another paint sealant product sometime.

I was cheap and bought a Harbor Freight platinum random orbit polisher, but it's held up to a lot of polishing for 5 years now. I added a good backing plate and pads from Lake Country because the HF stuff was garbage.

Currently using McKees 37 Power Wash car soap. It works great with lots of suds, plus I can use it in a foam gun if I ever decide to get one.

The McKees wax remover for plastic is the only one I've tried that actually works to get white residue off plastic trim.

I'm also using McKees interior cleaner and their surface protectant. I'm really starting to become a fan of McKees products.

For wheels and wheel wells, I've been using Mean Green or the Purple Power orange based degreaser for years. Also been using Westly's Bleach White on tires for over 20 years.

I paid a lot of money for Wolfgang exterior trim sealant and it didn't seem to last very long, plus it streaked onto my paint...maybe I had too high expectations.

I tried the Pinnacle Ultra Poly clay bar with Pinnacle Natural Brilliance clay lubricant and it worked really well.

A cheap 5 gal bucket with grit guard and whatever wash mitt I got on sale at autogeek and I'm pretty much set.

For the guys using the leaf blower for drying, do you have any concerns with it possibly shooting some grit onto your paint? Maybe I worry too much, lol. But my big Husqvarna backpack blower wound make short work of drying!

here is my slowly growing detailing shelf in the garage. However that is not all of it because I have some unopened bottles and gallons in the house.

I am lazy and want fast results, my go to products are generic magic erasures(50 pack under $9), Meguiers synthetic x spray wax(can be used on everything, even interior) and can get in gallon for like $20. Rest of what I use varies, but those 2 are great for multiple things and cheap. Meguiers wheel brightener that you dilute, works out to like $2 a bottle when buy in gallon jugs. I use HD 3D speed for polishing, easy off and takes out swirls, fine scratches. Wax varies for me. Meguires synthetic Xpress spray wax is excellent, leaves no residue, can do everything on car/truck, inside and out, smells ok, can use after wash as drying aid, on Windows, plastics etc and lasts forever. I gallon jug lasts me a couple years.

Where are you buying the Meguiers spray wax at for $20 a gallon? And the wheel bright too??
