Hi all. New to posting in this forum, but I've been lurking for a few months. I bought my Ram about 2.5 months ago. I traded in a Nissan Frontier. Over at the Frontier forums, there was a thread called "What did you pay for your truck at the dealership?" I didn't see a similar thread over here, so I thought I would start one... It's especially helpful to members shopping for a new truck. Please post the following details:

Mo/Yr purchased:
Buy or lease:
Cash or financed:
Model year:
Model:
Trim:
Cab:
Engine:
Drive:
Transmission:
Other options:
MSRP:
Lease payment, term and down payment (if applicable):
Residual (if applicable):
Interest rate or money factor:
Total price paid including fees, minus taxes:
Percent discounted off MSRP:

Anything else applicable:

Ok, I'll go first.

Mo/Yr purchased: July 2018
Buy or lease: Lease
Cash or finance: Finance
Model year: 2018
Model: 1500
Trim: Big Horn
Cab: Crew Cab
Engine: 5.7L Hemi
Drive: 4WD
Transmission: 8-speed with 3.92 gears
Other options: 32 gallon fuel tank, trailer break control, locking lug nuts. Dealer added MOPAR all-weather mats and a spray in bed liner at no additional cost.
MSRP: $48,135
Lease payment, term and down payment (if applicable): $328.01 X 360 months $0 down payment
Residual: $23,454.80
Interest rate or money factor: 3.72% or .00155
Total price paid including fees, minus taxes: $34,844.71
Percent discounted off MSRP: 27.61%

Anything else applicable: My monthly payment, and therefore total price, includes taxes and interest on the lease portion. For me, the lease was a cheap way to get into the truck. I will exceed the allotted mileage and therefore plan on purchasing at the end of the lease. In fact, I already purchased a Lifetime Maxcare plan : ) I used an annuity calculator to back the interest out of the lease so that I could determine a total price without interest. Even if I had bought (rather than leased) the truck, I would have financed. Here are some calculators I used: https://www.omnicalculator.com/business/discount and http://www.moneychimp.com/calculator/present_value_annuity_calculator.htm.

Mo/Yr purchased: Mar 2015
Buy or lease: Buy
Cash or financed: Financed
Model year: 2015
Model: 1500
Trim: Laramie
Cab: Crew
Engine: 5.7 Hemi
Drive: 4x4
Transmission: 8 speed with 3:92 rear end
Other options: Sunroof, power folding mirrors, remote start, keyless entry
MSRP: $51,900
Lease payment, term and down payment (if applicable): $19,000 cash for my trade in, plus $8k discount off the MSRP, plus $2k in loyalty cash = financing ~$23k. $453/mo. I just pay $500 a month and im well ahead of the repayment schedule
Residual (if applicable):
Interest rate or money factor: 2.86%
Total price paid including fees, minus taxes: $23k and change
Percent discounted off MSRP: about 20%

5.7 Hemi, 8 speed, 3:92, trailer two package, 20" chrome wheels, UConnect 5.0. Window sticker attached.

MSRP $42965, bought for $25100 last April at AutoNation "no haggle".

It was the last 2017 on the lot, one of the few quad cabs, and had 492 miles on it. They had tons of 2018s and a bunch of 2019s on the way, so they wanted it gone. I paid cash, no trade-in.

Meh - I probably paid too much. Impulse purchase.

2018 2500 Tradesman 6.4 CC long bed. Snow chief package, 5th wheel package & some other stuff...
List 49k
Final Price 39.5k

But they gave me 5k more for my trade than expected. 26K for a 2014 Big Horn with 54k on it.

As mentioned but not going with all that. But in summary:

2017 2500 6.4L Hemi 4x4 Laramie Crew Cab Short Bed

Bigger packages in sig, some additional options that wouldn't particularly affect price.

MSRP: Supposedly about $64kish when bought.

Price out the door: About $49.5k out the door, actual truck price around $46-47k. So roughly $17-18k off MSRP/23%ish (patience, shopping around, willing to buy out of state...being Active Duty helped a bit as well on taxes/registration).

Paperwork listed 8 miles on odometer, think it actually read 49ish. I think an employee took it home at some point but wasn't going to quibble with the price. :p

Tow package, bench seats, navigation. Long wheelbase, 76" bed. Trifold soft cover, rubber mat in bed and on tailgate. Mopar lifetime unlimited mileage warranty.
Dealer loaner car, purchased with 5,000 miles. Traded in a 20010 toyota corolla with 100k miles on it. Out the door price with NYS taxes... 28k. I think I did well.

2014 power wagon tradesman delivered may 2015. Paid 38,700-msrp 46,500. 3500 in rebates (some commercial) 12 weeks from order to delivery...not because of special paint. There was some issue with lack of delivery personnel. And it was held an extra week because of factory bed liner

Hey - I paid $51K - but it had some miles on it (so was a second hand truck). Here is the window sticker. The 51K was all in...and it was a cash deal.
