Thanks to all for their suggestions, I’m going to have to go midevil up on these and come up with a viable plan. I have some time this Friday so I’ll pop back there and see where some good mounting areas exist.

That's what I did, just sit/look/think about a good location that you'll like

Transferred this small LED flood light bar from my '14 to my '19. Made up a bracket and used a hole in the frame to attach. Installed the CURT 56584 wire harness and tapped into that for power so I did not have to cut into the factory harness. Tons of light in reverse now.

Looks great! Can you tell us the part number/brand for the light?

I’m pretty sure my black tips will arrive before the end of September. Now if someone can actually confirm 100% which bedrug that is available, then I’ll be good there. I need the one for the NON sprayed in bed that goes front to back top to bottom.

They’re kinda tucked underneath that way but sure put out some good light at night.
I have the flush mounts on my Chevy but couldn’t bring myself to cut holes in my Ram’s painted bumper.

I hope you all that add the aftermarket backup lights put them on an auxiliary switch and not wire them into the factory backup lights. I sure wouldn't want to be driving in a restaurant /store parking lot and be blinded by them when you drop it in reverse.

Is it different if somebody parked and headlight shines inside the restaurant? Backup light is probably pointed lower

Those led pods are way brighter than headlights. I have them on my Jeep as foglight replacements. They are so annoyingly bright to oncoming traffic I never use them. Yes, I have them tipped down.

People have a habit of walking behind my truck just as I am backing up. Hopefully bright lights act as a deterrent lol.

If you are blinded by my lights, that are below the spare and tucked in, as you’re driving in a parking lot then you must be driving a Lamborghini or something similarly low to the ground.
You can’t even see them from a standing position.700B5F71-8DAF-42B3-B667-B0614E3E38A9.jpeg
