I have none of these issues, curious as to the build dates?

I have none of the issues either my build date was July 27th. My air is very cold compared to the 14 I had and the 14 cooled just fine in terrible hot weather. The 19 Ram is colder than the 18 scat pack Charger!

Anyone had problems with their iPhone disconnecting repeatedly if plugged into USB1 and another device is plugged into USB2? If something is also using the wireless charging, forget about it. Just curious if others have seen the same?

Seems like they should make sure whatever is set to the primary USB is always powered, even if they don't have enough to keep everything going at the same time. Makes it real annoying for music or CarPlay.

My Carplay and Android Auto don't work at all even though USB is charging the phone. Dealership refused to do anything and told me to wait for an update.

1st NEW: Make sure SIRI is turned on, also data for autoplay turned on and Airplane Mode off. What I have to do to get my I Phone 5S to work, just MHO.....Sometimes I have to have all turned on, unplug, then re plug in with all in for carplay to be recognized.....Just saying

That being said, if U have Android phone I dunno know. Not even sure if Android does SIRI or some other type of replacement,, showing my age... LMAO

U can always try above suggestion, hee hee

The dealership gave me a loaner 2018 Jeep Cherokee and as soon as i plugged in the phone Carplay went right on. I also tried 3 different phones and different cables in my 19 Limited to no avail. So it's not the phone rather the truck issue.

Hello all, first post here. I have owned 4 Rams now. Bought my new 2019 Laramie Sport about 90 days ago. This morning I had a BIG problem.

Remote started it...it honked once, and that was the last thing it ever did. Key folks didn't work and I had to use the manual key from the fob to open the door.

No lights, instrument cluster, power locks, nothing...

Took battery cables off, touched them together, waited a few minutes and reconnected. Still nothing. Measured voltage at battery and to input of fuse box.. all good. Measured current draw at battery with meter and it was basically zero.

Called Chrysler roadside assistance and had it towed to the dealership.

They duplicated it, but cannot find a fix. They started a trouble ticket with Chrysler. They have no idea what to replace first and are hoping Chrysler has seen it before or has an idea what to do to fix it.

I'll try to keep everyone updated. Hopefully this isn't something to look forward to on these new Rams.

I keep a thumb drive in my usb2 and plug my phone into usb1 and the other day the phone would charge on and off repeatedly and my thumb drive was blinking repeatedly and wouldn't ever connect. Got back in the truck at lunch time and all was good again. So the truck not connecting to carplay is a truck issue and not a cable issue.

Today my 12" screen blacked out. I turned the screen on and off twice and it worked fine again.

I have a water leak on the passenger side floor which I think is the A/C because the water is cold.

I have a front end suspension pop when turning. It's not nearly as bad as the first truck I test drove and it's so minor and infrequent that it doesn't even bother me.

Hopefully I'm limited to these issues. This is my first Ram and so far with less than 1000 miles the truck is starting to look like a problem, thankfully they are small issues. Overall with all the vehicles I've owned this is easily my favorite.

Had my 2019 Ram Limited 2 weeks and the front passenger blinker is out! Manual says that it’s a dealer service only issue? Is this just an led bulb change or more?

I currently have it at the dealer for the clunking noise and the weak AC. I will report when it's back.

I get a thump underneath the driver side when I back out of my downhill lightly sloping driveway and turn the steering wheel to the right at the end.

Got my truck back from the dealer. They said they couldn't hear any clunking while test-driving it (?) but re-torqued the suspension anyway. It's now a lot less prominent but still happens once in a while.

The AC was overcharged with coolant from the factory, they evacuated it and filled it with the correct amount, now it is blowing nicely cold.

On the inside of your door jamb drivers side...You can also request a Build sheet from FCA Customer service if you request it with your VIN. Your build sheet supplies you with much useful information. It will list a thru z every thing on your truck.

Just purchased a 2019 ram Laramie 1500 4x4 love the truck only issues I’m having the ac seems to struggle greatly to cool the truck at times air feels almost warm coming out vents it’s never really cold like my 16 ram on my 16 GMC2500 duramax. Then when I does finally cool off the ac can be set on vent but it always blows some air on defrost and condensation forms on the windshield causing me to have to use wipers all time to clear windshield. Has anyone else had this issue. If so any repairs for it yet?

I noticed a problem today. On my front passenger door the chrome trim at the top is rubbing against the chrome trim on the rear passenger door creating a slight resistance when opening and closing the door. The trim on both of the doors has now become slightly loose. The door appears aligned correctly so I think the trim itself may be too large. Not sure what I can do about it. I was thinking I may have to file it down with something.

I read another post where the proper amount of Freon was not factory installed. A short trip to the dealer cured the problem. Unless you have a leak or the ac is not correctly set.

I got an oil undercoating yesterday, and they told me that the rear axle seal is leaking on one side. I have an appointment the middle of the month to get it checked out.

Can you expand a little as to how you use the Waze Ap on car Play?

If you have already installed the CarPlay app, connect your Android Phone with a USB connection, when you see the usb message "charging" on the screen, tap that and change it to "MIDI". Uconnect will then recognize your phone and you will get a CarPlay icon on the lower edge of the screen. That lets you use the carplay apps from within uconnect, such as Waze or Google Maps.

I personally prefer Google Maps as you can use offline maps with that that don't drain your data as Waze does. Sadly, Carplay does not work with Here Maps, which are even better offline.
