Speaking of the logs, is there an option in the tool (Android version) to reset them? I see a "Create New Gauges Log" option, but not one for the regular log(s). I don't see anything the help documentation either.

Yes, I used the SGW Bypass from zAuto. It is a neat and clean solution that bypasses the SGW at the module itself. (Not the double bypass)

I don't think there is, but you can just backup/delete those logs and the program will start a new one

So I pulled those log files. Only 1 has any data in it. The "BODY_CHRYSLER_Info.log". That just showed the change I had made. Didn't find a file with all the current settings in it like Ghost has in hi google drive under BCM Configurations

Here is a snap shot of the files that were in that directory and what was in the one file. The others were all empty.

Just to confirm, did you do a Read System ID first before you uploaded? You have to do that to get the info into the log file.

Connect to the Body Module
Click/Tap the Battery icon at the bottom of the screen
Click/Tap Read System ID

You should see all the info you're looking for scroll across the screen, then it will be in the log file and can be uploaded to Drive or grabbed directly off the phone/tablet.

I just now went out and did one with the current android version and it worked.

Update got the trailer brake controller figured out. Now trying to get the aux switches figured out. It is only showing aux 1-4, aux 5 is not showing up.

This one was tricky, mine did the same thing when I first enabled the csm. This was the fix... No ill effects for me. Don't recommend enabling the other pto option though. Truck freaked out on me. Just set to 5 switches like the pic and enable the csm.

Yes, as said before and by Kad. Once connected and in Alfa look for the battery icon then click on read system ID. It will populate a list of the BCM current config. If it is not doing that then there is for sure a problem.

I tested it out with both versions earlier and all is well on my end. However, if you don't do the above it will not load any of your configuration into Google Drive.

I heard back from alfaOBD. I guess I was just impatient. He was very kind and cancelled the Paypal transaction and refunded. He asked me if I had the debug logs so I will send them to him.

I just really wish this had worked. I wish I had a friend here in Vegas thatbhasnthe android version so I could give it a shot!

I would have been surprised if he hadn't ever responded. So far and hopefully he will stay in communication. Sorry it didn't work out for you and hopefully you will be able to get something going.

Edit: Went to check out Appcar for you but they are also the same showing 13' to 18' Rams.

After changing the BCM the safety feature was not working and posted here looking for input. An additional step that was missing and needed that CHACH caught was to UPDATE THE RFH hub. I followed Chach's instructions and SUCCESS, the feature works!

PS.....DANOHALL...if you do this as well please note that your trucks PIN number for the RFH hub was changed when you got the new RFH hub from AutoTechElectronic. Call them to confirm your new PIN for the RFH hub.

Sweet!!! Got the OBD scanner and need to get it set up. Didn't even think about the PIN changing. Would have led to much frustration down the road. Will give them a call. Thanks again mfj6175!!! Much appreciated.

Update:

I heard back from Alexey the developer. He actually cancelled the Paypal transaction. He stated he could get it working as he already did with another customer with a my2012 Ram. So I agreed to pay him for both android and windows version if he could get it working.

He’s very friendly and willing to help. He thinks it’s a timing issue due to the power-net style system in my truck. He said they are more sensitive than others.

So that said we are working together, and we shall see if he can get it working. I will be so freaking happy.

I’d love to know what package to enable to have my evic show rebel splash haha. I want to put the rebel front clip on my truck. I’m in the process of getting rid of the 12 sport bumper and putting on 13+ steel bumper. I’ll save this for another forum topic.

That is great news!

As far as the EVIC displaying on boot the Rebel splash screen, it is located in two places under BCM/Special Packages. There are actually two sections towards the top for special packages and have found I need to set both most of the time. Not all of them work. I'm sure all them work but it would probably take messing with the "vehicle line" and that will cause all kinds of issues.
