Got my front windows tinted a couple of weeks ago. While I was detailing my truck, I noticed a bright spot and initially thought it was a air bubble or "pillow" in the tint. I had my tint guy look at it and he said he noticed this while prepping the surface and that it is something in the glass. After taking this photo, it does appear to be a small hole beneath the laminate layer. There is no exterior surface imperfection when you rub your finger nail over the spot. When you look at this spot from the inside, it is a dark spot. Kind of like when you have a small windshield crack where the underside of the crack is dark.

Thoughts?

time for a new, new front window. So the window has been tinted also? I suppose that could cause some type of argument depending on your dealer and if they think it's an air bubble or not. Shouldn't be a big deal just time spent with the service dept.

Sent a pic to the dealer. It’s so small that it’s probably not worth doing anything. We’ll see what they say. Otherwise I’ll just wait till my first oil change to have them look at it closely.

My passenger window had a two inch ghost, like a finger smear in the factory tint. Service replaced. 1 hour down time

WOW! That would really but me. I need to call my dealer again. They haven't replied.

My Limited going in for 3rd windshield. 1st one had crack. 2nd the film in between the glass looks rippled. Almost looks like big guts.
