Dash grime and cleanup

Does anyone have any thoughts or products on how to clean the dash?

I have a 2014 1500 Express so it’s got the plastic dash. When I ran my hand across it earlier today it had a somewhat sticky texture and had little dust and fibers all over .... that I added to when I tried to dust off some with a microfiber towel.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Diluted woollite makes a quick easy and gentle interior cleaner.

If it's really bad you could use diluted all purpose cleaner but be careful to get one that isn't highly caustic (simple green is not good!)

Surf City Dash Away is my favorite. I've cleaned ink on light leather with it -- along with many other stains. It's my go-to interior cleaner/protectant.

Wipe it first with a towel wet with soapy water to cut the grime, then use a microfiber to apply something like Megs interior cleaner, either natural or glossy, up to you. I'd try the Megs first and if that doesn't cut the grime use the soapy wet towel first.

I do like Meguiar’s a lot!

I like the 303 the best for the interior. The whole interior.

I usually recommend Megs because it's readily available locally.

BTW, Are you using that exterior QD for the interior??

Your dash is sticky from whatever stuff you put on it before. Clean it real good with soap and water then use 303 Aerospace and nothing else from now on, it’ll protect your dash from UV and give it a nice look that won’t attract dirt/grime

I put this on my entire interior and exterior black plastics including tires, best stuff ever check reviews.

My Napa carries 303. It's a great protectant, but doesn't clean well.

I agree with suggesting things easily available. Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer is probably one of the best, I suggested diluted Woolite because it might be something someone already has.

If you are ordering products, Id look into Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel. My favorite interior cleaner by far, its just not available locally.

I clean it with Mr. Clean then protect it with 303. I usually clean it after 2 or 3 applications of 303. I just wipe it with a dry microfiber when needed otherwise.

There are about half a dozen different 303 products so make sure you check the label for the right stuff. All the labels look similar.
