Would it be possible to add a small description of what the purpose of each harness is for? I've read the posts, but even with searching, some of the harnesses elude me in terms of use and application. For example, what would a 7 speed harness do for me as a 2018 8.4 owner?

Might sound dumb, but I don't mind spending money on mods if I see an easy advantage for me.

Thanks again for the security bypass. Excellent quality and super fast shipment. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the feedback.

The 7 & 4 speed harness is related to lower trucks that want to do an upgrade to the 8.4 radio & related HVAC system/bezel.

Using the forum can be kind of limiting w/o a dedicated website due to the amount of info (character limit) and ability to keep things organized at the beginning. That's why we generally try to post a link to the thread related to the harness.

We really are just 2 guys doing this on the side (we have regular full time jobs) because we enjoy it & want to help others with the kind of harness we'd put in our own trucks (& didn't want to get banned for not being a vendor).
There's a surprising amount of time involved outside of just building the harnesses (which is actually a lot... our wives know) as well as general support/questions that honestly surprised me. There's still time that needs to be spent writing & updating install directions/threads for some of our newer items that I'm personally behind on, but I prefer not to keep folks waiting too long on an order. It's challenging but still fun.
