I'll know better tonight when it's not so bright out. I'm the only one home so I have no one to looks to see what's on and it's just to bright in this Arizona sun to even pull up to the closed garage door to see. I tried putting the truck in neutral and applying the e brake but the gear selector just switches to park when I open the door and all the DRL's shut off.
When I checked mine, I chocked the wheels with a couple bricks and left it in neutral. I was on level ground but figured it was a good precaution.

Just FYI, there was another update to the app released today (V2.1.4.0). Sounds like some fixes and more compatibility with older models?

"More support for the before-PowerNet Chrysler/Dodge/RAM/Jeep cars, various fixes."

Noticed this too. I'm sure it contained the tire size correction settings fix as well.

Thank you all for you help. I was always in the configuration mode but here's what I think I found out. I knew the truck had to be in gear but always had my lights set to automatic mode. When I turned the headlight switch to off the DRL's came on, maybe when the automatic sensor turns off the headlamps in daylight is also over rides the DRL's. I'll keep playing with it till I get just the DRL light on that I want.

I run my lights in automatic mode and my DRLs come on whenever the lights are NOT on and the truck is in D, R or N.

Below are all the DRL related settings from my BCM. The only ones I actually changed from stock are marked with a *

Control-Dedicated DRL: No
Right Dedicated DRL Lamp / Headlamp Leveling Output Present: Not set
Left Dedicated DRL Lamps Output Present: Not set
*DRL Configuration: Optional DRL
*DRL Lamp Location: Turn Signal DRL
DRL Dropout Enable: Set
LED Dedicated DRL Present: Not set
*DRL customer setting enable/disable: Set
Left Side DRL Voltage Target: 7.4 V
Right Side DRL Voltage Target: 7.4 V
LEFT DRL Usage: Left DRL
RIGHT DRL Usage: Right DRL
Dedicated DRL Lamps Open Circuit DTC Enable: Not set
Right Dedicated DRL Lamp / Headlamp Leveling Output Present: Not set
Left Dedicated DRL Lamps Output Present: Not set
*Daytime Running Lamps: Set
*Daytime running lights customer settings menu: Set

If you run into a problem with the settings not seeming to stick in the 8.4 again, you can perform a reboot of the radio by pushing/holding the volume and channel select for a few moments until the screen goes black. It will performed a reboot and the settings will more than likely be there. This of course is after a sleep cycle so the BCM has sufficient time to make changes.

Some have experienced issues (usually 14's) when setting high beams for DRLs. While I can get mine to work, I experience an odd hum which I have not been able to source yet. I leave mine on signals as it looks great with projectors.

It looks as though I have the three changes I intended to make completed. I now have the single zone ATC, the DRLs with high beams, and the fog lights with high beams. I am getting new tires later this week and I hope there is a size listed that is close enough so I don’t need to buy another programmer.

There are quite a few sizes listed and somewhere in this thread someone posted some screenshots. If the update had the fix in it today then it should be no problem setting them.

There is a bunch of tires in there to select, unfortunately most are stock size or smaller. There is a 12.5x35 but that is pretty much it for going bigger.
I have a 285/70-18 (slightly bigger then stock) and could not find anything close enough to that size from the list to make it worth changing.

I am getting 295/70x18 tires. The manufacturer says they are 34.3” tall. I hope there is something close.

I actually had this set a while back. It was not set originally but enabled it in the BCM and seen no change.

Well that was easy! I just pulled back in the garage and when the automatic headlamps triggered on just I put a bright flashlight on the sensor, it turned them off and I got to see that the DRL's were still on just like KAD said.
You ex neighbor from Albany thanks you KAD!

Activate Factory Bed Lights

Body Computer>Car Configuration Change

Option=Truck Bed Lighting Feature

Value=yes

I installed my bed lights a few days ago and they work GREAT! Granted, I have a 2017 2500 and the factory wiring was already there - it only took about 5 minutes to install.

Now I am wondering about additional changes. I have DRLs activated using high beams. My thought on this is the high beams are used much less than low beams, if fact I rarely use them, so the bulbs may last longer. I wonder if I can lower the voltage to the DRLs so they aren’t quite so bright and maybe extend the life of the bulbs. If I can do that, what would be a goo voltage to use?

I posted this a while back in the thread but a note for everyone waiting a few key cycles to see new options. You can restart the radio and see new options right away.

Hold the driver side temperature up and down together for a few seconds (7-10 ish) and it will take you into the engineering menu. From there select "Reset radio" which will restart it.

*WARNING* There is also a factory reset in the menu so be careful not to hit that one instead of the regular reset.

@Ghost_RAM maybe you can add this to the first post?

You can also push the volume and browse buttons simultaneously for around 5 seconds and reboot the radio. Either way will work just wanted to mention both options.

UPDATE:

So have been working with Alexey, the developer of AlfaOBD. He’s amazing with his support and willingness to help the community. We together have found a few bugs. Such as he thought/got information the can system for cluster and other CCN was 500k. When Infact it’s 125k. So now I can connect to my cluster without bringing in the 125k lines. Also to that he fixed the incorrect mapping of test lights. When I tested in my drive train module, I hit the test 4 wheel lo it would light the neutral. He fixed all the incorrect maps.

This guy is super friendly and very willing to work with us as a community. As soon as I get some extra cash I’m gonna send some his way just for his help. He’s sent 3 updates fixing the 12 rams which I believe goes back to to maybe even 3rd gen rams. The non PowerNet.
