I've never seen that two tone color scheme before I dig it! [emoji23].
Jetseal is a awesome sealant that works really well and also adds a nice shine. It wont stop it from getting muddy and dirty especially in those conditions (not even ceramic will do that) but it will definitely help it leaves the paint really slick. That's what I would recommend

Cool. It actually is 2 tone, which is nice because repainting rockers is easy vs trying to blend into the white. I'll look into the jet seal as I really just want something to make it clean up easier without having to clay bar as much out of the paint. She's gonna get dirty, but I try to keep it clean when I can. Inside was spotless too, but I took a few people out for dinner and they apparently dont know how to keep muddy boots on the floor mats so I'll have some work to do and maybe some jet seal waiting when I get home.

Nice, I actually really like that goldish two tone on the white and on the green looks really good. The jetseal will definitely help man. I've had the same coating on my wife's 4runner for a year now and it's still there (I still wax it semi regularly and it is garage parked) but I'd bet in your conditions you could get a solid 6 months out of one coating maybe more

Perfect. Ordering a bottle and some new polishing pads
Thinking about grabbing a 5" torq polisher from chem guys and 5.5" pads vs my air rotary 5" or 8" pos simmons buffer. Not enough shop air for a new random orbit. Any better polishers for not stupid money that I should consider?

I looked at that one too. Wasn't sure how it stacked up, but it seems like it gets good reviews for a medium use polisher. Muddy season is just about over so I'm going to do the full interior out of the truck detailing when I get days off in a couple weeks, pressure wash and spray corrosion inhibitor on the undercarriage, grease the door latches and the slides and latches on my tonneau and this time clay bar, fine polish, seal and wax the paint for winter. Should be an enjoyable couple shop days as long as there's beer in the fridge. At least my other truck just sits in the garage so it only gets dusty. Way easier to keep clean and rust free that way. Maybe that muddy truck in the picture will be worthy of the thread once I'm done.

Nice! I'm sure it will look great!
I cant speak on the Torq polishers from personal experience I never owned one but from everything I've heard and read they are top notch. I can say my PC has gone many days of literally about 14 hours of working time straight with only being turned off to switch pads and bathroom breaks. It does get hot after about 12 hours of use lol but I'm guessing any polisher would. I've got probably around 200ish hours on my PC and not a single issue

Well I have all the stuff now. A little rust to take care of on the tailgate and a lot of cleaning and polishing to do. Once I get some of these leaves cleaned so my drains aren't plugging and I get the garage heat going I'll be good to get started.15424021175257585730450719685538.jpg 15424021402596267137373822319844.jpg 15424022966188809746529492800165.jpg

Once the addiction begins I will guarantee you that you will look back at that picture and think "How was I ever able to do the job with such few products". Good luck, please post a picture of your results.

I will for sure. Biggest issue may be the fact that its raining and I live on a gravel road. May have to put insurance back on detailing project #2 so I can finish up15424092465814635289933947180416.jpg this one should be a lot easier

Its coming along. Outside is clay barred and partially polished and sealed. Spent most of the time on the interior and i have paint still curing so I cant polish it yet in certain areas.15424762711415123395938636551044.jpg 15424763185159165016355843063268.jpg actually pulled the seats and carpet out. Scrub brush and carpet shampoo and pressure wash all the soap out. Dried it in my office once most of the water dripped out in the garage to speed things along.
20181116_162602.jpg I'm practiced enough I can get the seat and carpets in and out in an hour and it saves me time as its way easier to clean that way and I get every inchof the carpets and seats easily with it all pulled out.

Nice! If at all possible try to keep the jetseal dry for at least 24 hours, if possible. It'll really help it bond. But I'm really jealous of that interior clean I haven't done it like that since, well, never [emoji23][emoji23]

I put the jet seal on 12 hours ago so I'll wax it tonight once its cured. Tailgate still needs a sand and buff on my repairs so I'll have to be patient and let it cure before I finish it.

I have ceramic pro platinum on mine and use chemical guys revitalize, adds a good bit of extra shine and enhances the beading. At about 15mph all beading left flies right off
