Hello everyone! I purchased my first Ram 1500 new in 2015. Due to a job loss I had to scale down and found a 2011 1500 4wd. It has a lot of miles on it but mechanically the truck is very sound. I've had it 1 1/2 years and not a minutes trouble. I finally went back to work and drive 120 miles each day. The Ram is about to turn over 200K but still runs strong. When the engine starts going down hill I will probably have it rebuilt or a new Hemi put in. I don't want a new truck payment. I use mine for hunting and everything else and I don't want to treat a new truck to that lol.

I do have a question. The key fob and lock button on the door will unlock the rear doors but not the front. I have to do those manually. Has anyone run into this and found a quick fix or any fix at all?

TIA and I will kick back and do some reading now.

Jeff

Thank you but it ended up being a huge blessing. I went back to work for the company I had worked for prior to the one I left and it netted me a 20K per year salary increase and a much more stress free work environment. I could go buy a new Ram now but I'll probably drive this 2011 until it's not worth putting anymore money into lol

Welcome from Maryland.

More than likely your FOB needs to be set, to recognize the sensors for the door..

Hope this helps.
