Two questions

1. What years Ram 1500/2500 is this program limited too?

2. Can I change headlight low beam setting to allow HID’s without the need for a harness that eliminates “bulb out” error messages?

I would bet you could select "LED" for light type in Alpha and it would ignore the bulb out function? I know people have done it using LED bulbs

To #1- I believe someone recently posted about changes made to a 2010. If 2018’s can be done, I see no reason it wouldn’t work on 2019 classics.

I’ll have to give this s try.
Isn't there an HID Present setting in Alpha? I know I saw it while scrolling through the settings.

Do you have a write up on this?

I am using windows and I did not take snapshots but basically I went to the body control module then to reconfigure car setting and then clicked on the 2014 bed lights that are shown in Ramit2016 attachment on page 300. It Failed the first time but worked after I disconnected and waited then went back into the app a second time. Did not have to let the truck sleep they came on right away!!!

I just did that on my Durango this week and I changed that setting with the Alfa. If I remember right, it said something like High Intensity Discharge Bulb Present or something like that... No bulb out warning so far.

I'm curious if I have a basic factory alarm in my 2015 tradesmen. I was reading my build sheet and ran across this in the optional equipment section "MOPAR EVS Base Security System". Can anyone tell me if I do or not and if so what settings I would have to enable with alf to get it to work. Thanks in advance.

Anyone know why my upload to Google Drive of my vehicle config look like this? My original upload has line breaks, but any subsequent upload is a mass jumble of information.f006be1d0d6f21800ec54d9c3dc55bda.jpg

Yes you can enable the alarm. The instructions for all of the options that have been successfully added and how to do it are at the beginning of the thread. One thing I'm thinking you may possibly run into an issue with is as far as I know everyone who has enabled the alarm has also already upgraded to the premium cluster. There's a small red LED that blinks on the bottom of the speedometer dial when the alarm is set. I'm not sure if that LED is present on the regular 3.5" speedometer in order for you to tell of alarm is activated or not. The alarm should still work either way but there may be no blinking light with the regular cluster. There might be someone who has done it with the 3.5" speedometer who will chime in to verify one way or the other on whether or not they have the red LED light.

I have the 3-1/2" EVIC, and enabled the VTA option, and can confirm that there is a red LED in the display when the alarm is active

Sweet. Thank you for the info. I didn't think to check the list in the beginning of the thread lol. Still learning but loving owning a ram so far. My first one actually lol. Already enabled the drl lights on my own so can't wait to give the app another go. Thanks again.
*Edit* Just wanted to add that I did run across this in the options. Maybe I could enable the blinking led light manually. That is if it's even on the regular speedometer of course.

That's good to know. I was wondering if there was or not. Is it in the speedometer dial like it is on the 7" speedometer?

It's actually right under the gear indicator in the center of the dash.be12ffba3877597b7a9d88981c209623.jpg

Thanks! I have looked all over my original speedometer and I couldn't figure out where the LED would light on those so I was unsure if it was there or not. That is definitely good information for the future.

Thanks. How about wiring for them? I have a cover on mine and the light would be welcomed.

Is there anyway to tell is a vehicle has the hardware to support the vehicle theft function? I have a well equipped Big Horn but see nothing in my build sheet like shown a few posts ago ""MOPAR EVS Base Security System""

.
