Hey guys so I have a 97 ram 1500, got it second hand, and have been going through it and attempting to determine what I want to replace on it. Initially I had been looking at DOR track bar replacement, then went and looked under the truck, and found an aftermarket one under it already. One of the heim joint/rod ends was slightly bent so that will need to be replaced but wanted to know what track bar this is.20181211_130844.jpg 20181211_130836.jpg
Any help is appreciated.

lol thanks had no idea :p cant say im too excited with how it was welded right to the existing track bar mount as far as strength, but could be strong i guess, no idea who the welder was or what the skill set was when it was welded.

could this be a previous owners own handy work to upgrade the track bar? or can anyone identify if this was a trackbar kit for these trucks? there are horizontal welds down the tube to the nut assembly to thread the joint on it. extends maybe an inch down the outside of the tube.

Kinda looks homemade
thats what i am guessing, but the mount being as it is, doesn't seem like it would have been the route easiest done for homemade. unless was professionally custom home-made maybe.
thanks for the response!
