Hi all! Trying to figure out if body parts were interchangeable on 1985 D100 and D150. Thank you for all the help!

should be. body/sheet metal is pretty much 'interchangeable' from 1972 - 1993 dodge trucks. meaning for the most part, the sheet metal mounting points never changed. sure the body lines might not line up between pre 81 and post 81 but they will mount and function. the 1979 hood and cowl were used through 1993. the same club cab model cab was used through the entire run to the bitter end. The rear bed/box mounting point did change but marginally. I have a 78 rear bed on a 92 frame with only minor mods. as well, as 73 fenders, hood, doors on a 92 cab. Tailgates and doors did have a change in latch design and mounting points in later years.

Thank you I was looking on rockauto.com and they don't have a listing for a D100 only D150 and so on. I have been looking at wheel wells left and right on the box and was hoping that they would line up the same.

yes, they will. the years dodge had d100 and d150, the sheet metal is all the same.

where are you located? I have a bunch of 92 D150, including the wheel well stuff just sitting around. If you're near sacramento, they're yours for the taking.

Thank you very much man but I am in Minnesota but if I come that way I would definitely take a look at what you have. It doesn't need a whole lot which is great but I have plans for adding things to the truck that would have been either options from the factory or things guys in the 80's would have added on. I would like to change out the gauge cluster I have for one with the temp gauge and oil pressure and chrome trim around the rain guard on the roof. A stock radio and a slider rear window. 80s style crager wheels with some good tires plus converting single to dual exhaust if that doesn't sound too ridiculous for a slant six 2 wheel drive plus bars for the bed rails. I could go on and on but eventually it will all be done! Any suggestions
