Have a noticeable sag in the front driver side. Figuring it's a coil wearing out- maybe. Droops by about an inch and a half compared to passenger side sitting flat and empty.

Anyways, has anyone tracked down a decent replacement coil for the front? I'd prefer to keep OEM height but I am not opposed to a level if it has a better coil. OEM from Ram is decently priced, but if they are starting to fatigue already at 70000kms, I want to put something in that is going to stand up a bit better.

I have a set of front coils from my 2016 with less than 5k miles if you're interested. If you go leveling coils you'll need new longer shocks too.

Woah... yes. Yes I did. Figure the shop botched the alignment?

I’d crawl
Under front of truck and check caster. There’s setting and a mark. They should be pretty close on both sides. If way off I’d have it fixed

Most likely. Look underneath at the caster adjusters and see where they are pointing. Look at one cam adjuster and where it is pointing. The opposite side cam should be no more than one mark forward or back. The truck's radius arms make the front axle act like one big swaybar. If the cams are way out of balance, it's the same as having different length swaybar links, which would force it to lean.

I wonder if this is why my passenger front wheel sticks out an inch and my drivers front is inset further?

The one with the mud is the drivers side (the leaning side) and the cleaner one is the passenger side. Figure that may be far enough out?52390655cc79d3844b9aa4ba935d164e.jpg808cf4ebcfa76c7a605d6c23fe13bd90.jpg

They say NO MORE than one setting apart. That seems like it could very well be enough to be your issue. I’d find a reputable alignment shop. And talk to them about the issue that your having.

They should be very close to the same mark. On mine with Thuren spec's were all the way Back. Follow the instructions as given on the site.

Shouldn't be coils at those miles and 4 years old.

Looks and sounds like a botched alignment. IF you still choose to replace your coils let us know. We can get you set up with the Thuren coils. By far the best thing you can do for coils. Might want to upgrade to them anyway for the better ride and performance then get a correct alignment done

Yup! There is your issue. Take it to a place that actually does trucks and not some kid at a Jiffy Lube type place.

Yup! Picture your axle moving left to right as you turn the wheels. Your body goes up or down depending on the wheel.. same when the body is leaning. The track bar that mounted on the frame side is push it out.

It's going to the dealership next Wednesday. They are the ones that did the alignment recently, and looking at the service record- that's what they adjusted. The caster.

Spoke to them about the issue, according to their alignment tech those markers don't mean anything. They are only there in case Dodge's parts aren't the same size. Soooo... I don't have much hope they'll get it right this time either if this is in fact the issue. Wish we had an alignment shop within 400kms of us :/

Has anyone used the Thuren alignment specs without the level?

Since your truck is already kindywampus, just loosten one of the bolts and adjust it the same as the other. Cant hurt anything, and its free.
