Hey guys just recently bought a 2003 ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. Everything's been running fine untill yesterday. My check gauges light came on and my volt gauge was all the way down. After it was just at the half way mark. I don't have any accessories running off it and if I hook a volt meter up it says I'm at 15 volts. Nothing dims like lights or stereo or anything. When I first turn the key on it jumps to almost half on the gauge. As soon as I start the truck and a couple seconds the needle goes all the way down like there's no volts but like mentioned everything is fine. No dead battery or anything else. Alternator seems fine, if it was gone my lights would dim before I get to work in the morning. Any ideas?
