As the title implies, my little 3.9L finally bit the dust. She busted a piston somehow, somewhere. My dad was driving the truck, and then boom. Selling the truck is out of the question due to sentimental reasons. So, what exactly are my options? I was pondering the idea of building a V8 for the truck. For the guys that have done this, what all would I be looking at? It's a '98 Ram 1500.

V8 swap is rather easy. Engine more or less bolts in. Pcm can be swapped over and have a few wires added to the harness. Or you can swap a whole harness
