Can someone help make this a little easier, because I feel like the more I research I do, the more confused I'm becoming.

My question boils down to: What lift works with the Offroad Group that is offroad worthy? Emphasis on offroad worthy.

Fabtech ( https://fabtechmotorsports.com/prod...nSgBEacIDsCD5NeW1tC72812uXLrQyf8DCHLF7MqWtrWE ) straight up did not know a offroad group even existed. When I told them about it, this was their email:

"We have not seen this truck to do any testing, the question now is how did they lift it and what parts they used. At this time, we do not have this model on our to do list. I am sure we will more details about it in the coming months, so for right now we have to say nothing available at this time. Dodge is coming out with so many options, it will take time for any off road manufacture to catch to get solid information on what works and what does not work."

Also, for what it's worth, but I'm not sure RC is a reputable lift for hard offroading:

Get a bds lift. Sounds like your lift is just a small spacer that will be replaced with the suspension lift anyways

The offroad package gets its lift via different struts in the front with a higher seat for the spring, while the rear gets it via a longer spring. There are no spacers. This also applies to the Rebel. If the kit does not replace the front struts or the rear spring, then it would end up lifted a total of 7" over a stock non offroad package truck. This is also 1" over what the lift manufacturer is designing everything for.

The extra 1" will probably not hurt anything as all the angles should be well within range. However, if you are worried about it, you can purchase the front struts and rear springs from Ram that would be used on a non offroad package truck. This would net you 5" of total lift. The non offroad struts and shocks would take 1" away, and then the lift kit would give you 6" lift from there.

Thank you so much! So, to be clear, all I need in addition to the lift is the OEM non-ORP front struts and rear springs?

Correct. That will essentially eliminate the 1" lift from the offroad package, making it identical to a stock non offroad package Ram.

Is there anyone else on the forum that can confirm this? It's going to cost a good amount of money and I'm about to pull the trigger so I'd feel a bit more confident if more people could chime in. Thanks!

A comment from Facebook and the same as what I was thinking:

Kyle N. said:
Other people have lifted ORP and Rebel trucks. You need to get the non offroad package struts for the front and springs for the rear. This essentially eliminates the offroad package. You can then install the 6" lift. You will net 5" of lift. -1" for going to stock struts and springs, +6" from the lift from there. It will work no problem./QUOTE]

That's me! I chimed in above here also. Buy the non offroad package struts and springs and you will be good. That essentially eliminates the extra 1" lift. The white Rebel in the post above is a member on another forum who I was also in on the conversation with.

Also, if you do the stage 2 lift that comes with new coilovers you of course wouldn't need the front struts. It still uses the factory springs in the rear though so would still need those.

Oh nice, I didn't even think about that, yes I'm getting the Fabtech 6" Performance w/ the coilovers.

Thanks for your help!
