I do not know how the $$$ cost is for a vendor here , but the Forum should be paying $$ M2MODS

Just my .o2c

These guys are generating business from other forums ( to include the Zzz) and from a simple Google /Bing type search [emoji1303]
I've seen several folks come here to the ramforum.com soely because of harnesses that M2MODS has that no one else has , if others do have it it's 2 times the price $$ with basically ZERO Installation support .
With M2MODS you not only get an OEM style harness that works [emoji817] % of the time !! You also get Fantastic installation instructions and support via P.M. or verbal interactive on your personal cell phone !

Guys that's a type of customer service that's wanted , needed and is going by the wayside lately in today's marketplace ....but that's the type of customer service you can EXPECT from M2MODS ( Mike & Mike )
Just be a bit considerate as they do have full time jobs and a family as well [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]

Amen!
It seems today's businesses are run strictly on the bottom line and customer satisfaction service is history. IMHO this change from yesteryear is because businesses are no longer run by managers, they are run by the bean counters if they are stock held.

The only ones that understand customer satisfaction are businesses owned and run by the owners, not by the bean counters and Wallstreet.

Mike and Mike are a blessing and greatly appreciated!

This is a great resource. I will probably need a fog light harness unless my 2018 Tradesman happens to have one.

Not sure if I can PM here since this is my first post. I don't see a PM link on the profiles.

Just bought a 2018 2500 with both tailgate and cargo cameras. I'll be moving a large Callen camper shell from my 2007 over to the 2018. Basically, it's a cab over shell. That will require removing the tailgate and blocking the cargo camera. Adding a picture of my '07 so you can get a feel for the shell.

I'm assuming that your backup camera chassis harness is for adding the camera to the tailgate. I need to move mine from the tailgate to elsewhere. Maybe next to the license plate light? Would the backup cam connector breakout work on the connector? Is is still an i550 between the spare and license plate as indicated in https://www.ramforum.com/threads/installing-oem-backup-cam.53505/ ?

The cargo light/camera/stop light would work great on the back of my camper if I could put a blank in the cab. Is there a harness available to move all of that?

Lastly, I'd like to get the 2018 security bypass. Never know when it could be handy.

Not sure if anyone makes a blank to replace the high mount stop lamp on the cab of the truck but you could buy a cheap replacement without camera and just use it to fill the hole if you relocated the camera one.

Yes, that was my thought. I have to drive by about 10 junkyards a few times a week. I'll bet someone has one.

I happened to find pictures of the frame of my camper yesterday. Not sure moving the entire camera would work.

I think I read something about a connector for the cargo light by the rear seat? Maybe I can start there and run separate wires for rear brake, cargo (wherever I put those) and camera?

Hi Mpgrimm2

Do you have a harness for a 2016 1500 sport to install a cargo cam into the 8.4 radio? If so drop me a DM with a price, instructions (if you have them) and availability.

Thanks

Reach out to Deereguy via pm/dm on this. I'm not sure if he still has the parts/time to build these currently (I would call this a limited build item when we've got a lot of heated seat and conversion harness orders).

I emailed him around Thanksgiving and like you said he was backed up lol

Then understandably production stopped for the holidays. I just emailed him again and hope I can get one some time.
