I did the 06+ coil pack and valve cover swap. I actually used the eagle valve covers and coils, coils are the same I believe and the valve covers aren’t much different then the 06-08 ones

Until I called every junkyard in the area, nobody would admit they had them or allow me to walk in the yard and cut them off. Only Hemi vehicle I could get my hands on was an 05 magnum. Dealership wanted $350 for the bare connectors. Couldn’t find a Hemi engine wire harness for less then $150 on eBay. Couldn’t find a parts Hemi on Craigslist 06+ newer. And when the weather dropped to 20 degree I was kinda glad I wasn’t laying on the engine soldering wires. If I had the engine out and could work on the harness it would have been ok. It wasn’t for a lack of trying....but in the end they fixed my cold starts, no more major surging when the weather is below 45. So I can confirm shorties cause some cold weather issues

See I've heard of people with shorties having these problems but I myself have never had them from day 1 (and mine were installed just in time for a CT winter).

That’s why I took all those rumors with a grain of salt. In my case it was an immediate improvement. Unless I had a bad coil pack, who knows

Picked up a set of 06 Charger R/T seats for cheap this week and got them bolted in. Wasn’t too hard, made some simple brackets. Now I gotta start on all the wiring for the power and heat

Alright, now I'm getting jealous of that interior lol. Dang those seats are sick and that console looks like a perfect fit in there with them
