Is anybody running the Rough Country 3in spacer and UCA kit? How does it ride? Also if you're running 35s with it what size are you running and is there rub? Or have you had to trim? Thanks Ya'll!!

I am, and honestly I’m not very happy with it.
I am going to pull the front spacer and add adjustable eibachs/bills/Fox”s.. something like that.
When I do I will leave the UCA and the rear spacer. I watched a video where the Welds on the spacer failed, and it just doesn’t inspire confidence. The front end also feels very very “ Springee”, as if I got to much tension up front trying to achieve lift. I’ve had it off road, I’m gonna be honest, I take it easy as I am affriad I am going to break something. With the way it handles that just my feeling. Now I had a Rc 6” on my previous Chevy and that thing gave miles of confidence, I drove that SOB like it was stolen, serious off-road abuse.

Thank you for the insight! Are you running 35s? Also do you know of anyone running any other spacer & UCA lift from other compamies?

Most stay away from spacer lifts on 1500”s due to the ifs and the issues I stated, I’m not running 35”s yet- waiting for these stock GY”s to die off some more. Unfortunately with the RC UCA, I will have to run a different wheel as I don’t even have an inch of space now between the UCA and the tire. Not all will share my opinion, but I know I am picky in how a vehicle feels and with this current combo it’s just not planted enough for me. There are a couple guys on here running the Rc UCA”s with bills. Remember the Rc UCAs have corrected geometry and you can not run them at stock height. Has to be like a 2.5” to 3.5” height increase.

Thank you, I appreciate your honesty. I'm picky with the ride quality as well. I'll probably end up running the RC UCA's with the bils. I've read in here that a lot of folks like the ride quality. I'll probably run that until I can afford a more quality and taller lift.

The zone/bds lift is good... you want lift or wheel travel? I prefer wheel travel, a few guys are trying out the Eibach kits, they go from 2.75 to 3.5” and that’s the route I will likely go. Carli makes a really nice set up for the truck as well..

I'm more at this point looking for a budget lift. Just something for now that'll allow me to fit bigger tires. Down the road I'll be spending more on a full lift kit. But for now just a budget lift. I'm thinking I'll be going with the Bils and RC UCAs.
