What are your current fender measurements?

I will check later and let ya know. So I was looking at the wheelbase if I decided to switch to a new chevy double cab, and man the wheelbase shows 147.5 with an overall length of 231.7in, man that's pretty long compared to our trucks! That is one thing I love about the Ram quad cab with std bed it's a bit shorter in length I think so definitely is better parking in the city and tight parking lots.

6" lift looks fine with 35" tires. Anything smaller starts looking goofy. I have seen many install the 4" and regret not going 6". Just because your thinking of potential regret, I would recommend going with 6" lift.

Also, I think @Chief_6.7 may be right. We posted some measurements on lifts in another thread. My Procomp front measurement is at 29.5"s. Most everyone else was in the 28" range.

To offer an opinion on the other side of the spectrum, I have a 4" lift and absolutely do not regret it. It's the perfect height for what I wanted, and I think the 35's look great under it. I'll upload a pic when I'm back by my truck.

I agree the wheel specs and tire size look great on his lift height.

The fact the wheels have the last few inches in black on the outer edge really makes the tires look meaty

Nice looking truck!

Bracket height is just a hair shy of 3.5". Pic of the driver side bracket is attached. Side angle of truck is attached for height reference too.

I have a couple of questions regarding the rear lift method. I’m about to have 6” Pro Comp lift kit installed but I’m deciding wether or not to order 5” longer rear coils instead of using the spacer like in the photo. My first question is regarding the bump stop. I see that the rear coil spacer has an integrated bump stop extension. If I go with longer coil springs instead of that spacer, is the stock bump stop position just still used?

As my kit won’t include any shocks (I traded a friend my old wheels and tires for the lift kit) I also need to know the extended and collapsed lengths to order from King. If there’s the option to gain rear travel as a side benefit of doing this suspension lift that would be a bonus too! I’ll want a 5” rear lift and the 6” up front to level my truck. While I’m asking, if I was to also have longer FRONT shocks made for me and avoided using the FRONT coilovers extensions too, what would the extended and compressed front shocks then need to be? I really appreciate any help with this matter!

For the 3” rear coils you’ll need to order the entire rear box kit from either Zone or BDS. This will give you the bumpstop extensions and the proper length rear, sway bar extensions, nuts bolts etc.

BDS is 022309
Zone is D2408
Fox rear shock p/n 98224758
Fox front coilover p/n 88302073

https://www.ramforum.com/threads/ram-1500-4th-gen-strut-shocks-specs-db.132389/[/QUOTE My bad, I meant to say 5” rear coils, not 3”. My kit has all of the lift components, just not the shocks or springs. I’m hoping to do away with the front and rear spacers and just use longer shocks along with said other components that come with the lift kit.

For 5”

BDS is 022509
Zone is D2608
Fox rear shock p/n 98224759
Fox front coilover p/n 88302073

You need to buy the rear box kit not just coils. The procomp rear coil spacer is a combination bump stop and track bar relocation. If you buy the rear box kit you get it all.

If you want to pick and choose what you think you need here’s the contents of the BDS rear box kit

Thanks for the side by side photo Krein! Does look correct on the 6 inch as it did seem like the tires looked a little bit small. So would the 4inch kit not really be that noticeable from my Bilstein leveled look? I'm in need of tires, really kinda want a true 35 vs a 295/65 but I if I go 4inch I don't want to regret not getting 6 inch, just really don't want to run 37s.

No it shouldn't be that noticeable at all

6B04F1DE-0FA3-4831-AAB6-06D4BA0030DC.jpeg Ok got another try and guess the lift size lol! Saw this while searching photos of blacked out taillights. Can y’all tell if this is a 4” or maybe just a level on 35s with 20x10 Fuel somethings?

Looks like a 3" body lift judging by how much the exhaust tips are hanging down

Great observation! I should’ve looked closer! That truck almost looks like it has a perfect stance!
