Yes you can enable the alarm. The instructions for all of the options that have been successfully added and how to do it are at the beginning of the thread. One thing I'm thinking you may possibly run into an issue with is as far as I know everyone who has enabled the alarm has also already upgraded to the premium cluster. There's a small red LED that blinks on the bottom of the speedometer dial when the alarm is set. I'm not sure if that LED is present on the regular 3.5" speedometer in order for you to tell of alarm is activated or not. The alarm should still work either way but there may be no blinking light with the regular cluster. There might be someone who has done it with the 3.5" speedometer who will chime in to verify one way or the other on whether or not they have the red LED light.

I have a 3.5 cluster in my 17 Ram 6.7 and I have the red flashing light now.

Yes another member posted that his 3.5 cluster had the red LED for the alarm which is good to know. I just have personally never enabled the alarm on a truck with the 3.5 cluster because they have all been upgraded to the premium cluster.

Thanks kad, I'll be needing that info for settings after I install all my M2Mods wiring next week.

Anybody know the full setting changes going from MTC to ATC single zone using a Mpgrimm2 ATC harness and a OEM
8.4 ATC bezel in a 2018 truck that had a RA1 from the factory?

From the OP known working list...

Vehicle Configuration 3:
>> HVAC Configuration:
(Dual Zone first, then activate Single Zone ATC)

Select:
Dual Zone ATC

--> (mpg edit): disconnect AlfaOBD app & shut off the truck for a few minutes and you must wait for the Dual Temp sliders to display on the 8.4 radio before proceeding with single zone ATC change.
(Battery disconnect between can speed up the radio/BCM reset for changes, especially with a UAx radio)

Select:
Single Zone ATC

M² Mods.

Maybe. As I said they might be on the edge of Rams spec. It would be nice if you could set the min / max current instead of settling for what they select.

@indept I know you can play around with the voltage being sent to all the lights but haven't seen anything about amps. I personally would start with replacing the bulbs to a higher quality, I know in the past I've used Amazon specials and they work good for a little bit but after awhile you start getting a couple of diodes per bulb that flicker

There are settings for voltage output to a number of different lights somewhere in the BCM. Im still a bit intimidated by all this so I haven't tried messing with those settings. Not to mention, I don't know what would be the proper voltage in the first place.

Don't want to try it, but what is shipping mode in Alfa? I finally got my bypass cable and connected to the truck and there are so many options that show up that I have no idea what they arw. This one just came to mind. I tried to activate my DRL today after work, and didn't see that it was active when I came to work tonight. I thought I activated the customer setting enable. Will see after work in the am if they are on or not. Really looking forward to getting my itbc connected and activated. Maybe tomorrow after fettget all my other Monday chores completed.

Shipping Mode is used between when the truck comes off the manufacturing line and when the truck is first prepped once it arrives at a dealer. It shuts down all unnecessary circuits to avoid draining the battery while it sits in storage lots, etc. Not something you'd usually ever use again unless you were putting the truck into long term storage or transporting via cargo ship, etc.

I tried to do the quick learn rfe on my 2016 Ram 3500 today and it kept asking me to put the gear selector in OD. My display shows D but that shouldn't matter. Is there something I missed? Thank you.

Has anyone verified that only the chrome side mirrors have the memory/tilt in reverse function??? I found a set of black mirrors that seem to have quite a few wires compared to the standard base mirrors...

My 17 Big Horn has the chrome mirrors and the tilt will not work. I have not removed the panel to check the wires yet.

Maybe someone will correct me but memory and tilt are tied together I think?

Since you've got a big horn, and don't have memory, the tilt in reverse won't work either. Though I could be wrong.

Yes, that's what I also suspect. I had just enough factory wiring in the yellow connector under the seat for heating and cooling to work but no memory functions.

The tilt should work even if the mirrors are not memory.

I believe the secret is to enable memory mirrors in Alfa, along with the auto tilt.

BUT the mirrors themselves must be memory *capable* because those are the ones that have the necessary wiring (2 connectors, a 7 pin and 4 pin I believe)

They are called memory mirrors simply because they have the memory function not because they actually store the memory. The door control module is what operates the tilt in reverse. You are correct, the right and left memory mirror codes need to be activated plus the tilt in reverse code.

Yep, the memory module is separate.

STILL kicking myself for letting a 150.00 set of memory mirrors go. Could really use the tilt in reverse feature (granted, not a fan of the chrome caps of the OEM ones, though)

Power wagons!

My 2013 and what has worked so far...

Fogs as DRLs...works like a charm, does not show up on CSM for some reason...maybe not supposed to have them?

Tire size....after a false start, went from 33s to 35s, step by step and no faults. Updated my speedo to read accurately, no more adjusting 2 to 3 mph under the speed limit.

Fogs with highbeams...probably the easiest to do.

@idtanker Congrats on getting a few things working for you. 2013 Rams have issues showing CSMs in Alfa, do you have CSM settings at the bottom of the list in the BCM?

Does anyone know if alpha can program a new rf hub and keys ?
I’m in the process of trying to add keyless go .
I Remember a post somewhere In this massive thread about programming additional keys .
Not sure on the rf hub though ?
Any insight is always appreciated .

You can definitely do keys, I've done it myself. I'm curious as to the hub replacement as well though, as it's required to install the remote start on my 2014.
