Read through 4200+ posts in the last 2 days.... :boxed: Where's my certificate of completion?

Got DRLs, Fogs with High Beams, Window Global Down, and AUX controls showing on the 8.4 screen so far with no issues.
Big thank you to everyone who has posted findings here. AlfaOBD is an outstanding tool.

Oops I missed one....Which AUX do you get displayed on your 8.4 screen?

Posting that on the fridge @Ghost_RAM !!

I got AUX buttons 1-4 showing up right now, but saw Config AUX PTO switches setting from POST #1051 that will show all 5. Waiting for my truck to hibernate right now to see if it kicks through.

Forgive me in advance if this has been asked and answered (yes, another one... :( ) but I'm waiting on my 4 digit pin (salesman is getting it for me tomorrow) and I've made some changes playing around and not knowing what I was doing:

Car configuration change: DRL customer setting enable/disable: ' NO ' -> '1 '
Car configuration change: LED License Lamps Present: ' NO ' -> '1 '
Car configuration change: DRL Lamp Location: ' FOG LAMP DRL ' -> '3 '
Car configuration change: DRL Configuration: ' OPTIONAL DRL ' -> '0 '
Car configuration change: DRL Configuration: ' NO DRL ' -> '3 '
Car configuration change: DRL Lamp Location: ' TURN SIGNAL DRL ' -> '4 '

Of course, I haven't "saved" anything yet without the PIN.

Is there a way to clear these body computer configuration changes and starting over from scratch? I'd like to not be as hap-hazard before going to the RFH and hitting "start."

Again -- sorry if asked and answered & Thanks!

You dont need the pin to make these changes.

@67Guzzler Most changes you make with Alfa are stored in the BCM. To revert back, simply go to the settings you changed and change it back to the stock configuration. If you haven't already, take a look at the OP on linking your Google Drive account to Alfa and getting your stock BCM configuration uploaded to your Drive. This will come very helpful when troubleshooting.

With everything that can be done with the AlfaOBD, I would think someone would come up with a way to unlock the PCM (I think that's what it's called) so we could use a programmer on our 16's and newer.

Truck has these two codes randomly. Anyone have any past experiences or thoughts resulting in the codes? Only reason I noticed is because I can't stop messing with the truck and I'm always looking through the Alpha app and checking for codes after the big mess I made with changes months ago. Also my vents under my middle seat center console do not blow any air on any HVAC setting. I seen someone said they did some kind of recalibration for their rear vents and it fixed their problem but I'm not sure if they were referring to the same vents and if so I cannot find under the Alpha app where to do the test. 7ec203f763e9bec38dddf5579cb893ba.jpg226683a79b1c0c41799d034411feb808.jpg

@Austen Next time you're connected to Alfa, scroll to Cabin Net - BCM Body Interior Bus and see if it is enabled or disabled inside the BCM (should be enabled). I believe there is another setting somewhere and will dig a little. Just a shot in the dark but who knows...

Edit: Not connected right now so I cannot check but I seem to remember there is also BCM present or something like that below the CSMs. I remember your situation as ours were similar. Let me know what happens.

Anyone tryed this cable on 18+ trucks to see if it will allow the use of AlfaOBD?

https://www.morris4x4center.com/aev-procal-bypass-harness-kit-for-2018-ram.html

I tryed contacting the guy selling his own cables on this forum multiple times with no response.
M2mods is usually very good about returning messages and getting people set up. Not sure what would be going on there. Hopefully they will see your post and get a hold of you.

Are we able to add power folding mirrors on a truck that had the option and that has the mirrors, switch, and modules yet? Not sure if the original post is being updated as you guys find new stuff. TIA

So fixed my horn issues last night and gone again today. Gonna retrace and see what’s changed.

I’ve gone in and followed steps from Cummins forum on setting the DRL for projectors but my problem is they only come on full power, not reduced even though I’ve changed voltage down to 6.2. Any help?

Also, how do I add aux buttons? And do I need to order the wire harness for outputs? Haven’t seen this until now

Yes you can enable the code for the power folding mirrors with the tool. I have done a few of them and they worked fine.

I wouldn't knock the other company you posted a link to and I'm sure you want to do you changes with the AlfaOBD as soon as possible. But............

https://www.ramforum.com/threads/deereguy-order-status-and-new-order-hold.134121/

Check out this link and you'll see that @DeereGuy posted his overload status recently. If you can't wait then try the other bypass but if you're patient I think you'll find that the M2Mods support after sale and harnesses are the absolute BEST that money can buy. I have a total of 4 different types of harnesses from them and their wiring product is superior IMHO to FCA or anyone else!

For the U1009, did you replace the rear view mirror, or mess around in the headliner at all?
