If they don't work, I'll do something else with them and go with hid. They have got to be better than the stock halogens.

The expensive SL1’s I bought weren’t, I could barely see in front of me to drive home from the test run thru the neighborhood.

Hopefully you’ll have better luck. Please post some pics from the drivers seat showing a good distance if you can

Will do. If they suck, I might just send them back to HR and get HID.

Well...so far so good. I'll take pics tomorrow morning on my way to work. What a difference from stock!

Here’s a video showing the new Morimoto 2.0 LED in various headlights, on the Ram reflector headlights the lux increases. However when used on the Ram projector headlights the Lux actually decreased.

Any pics or feedback of the Supernova?

I haven't had a chance to get pics because I've had my plow on all week but I did drop the plow down just to see and they look really good. 10 times better than stock. No dead spots or drop off. Crisp about 50+yds out or so.

I would skip the led's in the headlights and go straight to GTR lighting gen-5 HID's. Don't worry about drilling a hole in the plastic dust cover because the lights come with a water proof grommet with the wires in them. Headlight Revolution sells them, and they are a plug and play kit that does not require a relay harness or resistors. I put these in my wifes Jeep Cherokee and they are great. https://headlightrevolution.com/200...adlights-upgrade-low-beam-hid-conversion-kit/

Why does it need an $80 relay harness on 2015 only?

SOLD AS A COMPLETE KIT

The GTR Lighting GEN 5 HID conversion kit is one of the only kits on the market that allows for a proper CANBUS and PWM integration installation on the 2009-2018 Dodge Ram.
Note: the 2015 RAM needs extra parts to make the install work. If you have a 2015 RAM, and choose 2015 from the options above, an $80 harness will be added to your order. This harness is necessary for an HID install in the 2015 RAM.

Included in this Kit:
2 GTR Lighting GEN 5 35w or 55w HID Ballasts
2 GTR Lighting Single Beam HID Bulbs with integrated adapter wiring
Install Instructions
Retail Display Box
(
1 Relay Harness if installed in 2015 RAM

I am getting ready to make the upgrade to my projector headlights for the low and high beam but am concerned about the high beam warmup time for the HID. I would prefer all HID but might go HID low beam and Supernova V4 LED high beam. Has anyone made the high beam HID upgrade by GTR and can describe if this delay is an issue or not? I also plan to goto the supernova V4 for my fog lights and the GTR 1000 lumen reverse lights.

I emailed HR and they sent me a link for lows, highs, and fogs. My main issue is price. I have projectors
$258 supernova v4 low
$188 supernova v4 highs
$199 supernova v4 fogs
Do I just need to suck it up? Or is there a quality cheeper option?

I just received my order from HR for my 2016 Longhorn with projectors.

55 W GTR HID Lows
Supernova V.4 LED Fogs
LED Reverse Bulbs

Order Total: $587.00 USD

Products shipped

Cart Items SKU Qty
2009 - 2018 Dodge Ram HID Headlights Upgrade - LOW BEAM HID Conversion Kit 0918RAMLOHID-16P-55W-6000 1

2009 - 2018 Dodge Ram LED Reverse Bulbs Upgrade 0918RAMREVERSELED-7440-1000L 1

2009 - 2018 Ram LED Fog Light Upgrade - Supernova V.4 0918RAMFOGV4-VT 1

I figured a $600 budget for lighting upgrade on this Ram. I paid more than that when I did my 2014 Bighorn with Retroshop. Yes it seems expensive but I am 63 and can not live with the headlights in this vehicle any longer. What I did find out with my 2014 once upgraded is that I hardly ever used my High beams anymore. So I really don’t see any value in upgrading them.

Will install and provide pics soon.

I just put everything you listed except the high beams on my truck with factory projectors and you will be amazed! The difference is night and day. And when you need the hi beams trust me you have enough light to land a plane!

Those sure do make a difference. Do people think your bright lighting them?

I’ve never been flashed by people thinking my brights are on. Mine are in a projector housings that come factory with the truck. So it’s has a real nice cut off .
