Ok if anyone can shed some light on how to view these logs im all ears. Everytime I open it from drive it doesn't put it in a viewable format

One more lows with fogs

In the future once I burn out these bulbs I want to my morimoto's projector upgrade with diode dynamics switchbacks.

I love my amber turn signals as DRL's. Truck is very visible to other drivers with them activated.

I was excited to figure out this setup and inspired by all the guys over on the Alfaobd thread. I researched what they have tried that either resulted in success or failure.

I spent hours going through almost every setting in alfa. It's fantastic if you can't sleep. At least you'll learn something:D

The truck treats the setup like Im just changing regular halogen bulbs.

Now again I just want to be clear. My setup is a 35w Morimoto system that I pieced together through researching and debating threads.

If you guys try to run 55w watt HID kits through the stock wiring your mileage will vary but could lead to melted wires.

Yeah I wouldnt do the 55w without the harness, I'm not trying to ruin my electric system. Thanks again, great info!!

@RedSRT4Me What LED bulb are you running in the high beam?

JB I run the morimoto 2stroke 2.0 in my highbeams for factory projectors. I didnt need to cut the dustcap or any extra resistors like they said you need. No bulb out warning and no flicker at all on my 2018. Been running them for about 2 months now with no issues. I do have retrofitted D2S projectors in the lows with the morimoto mopar harness but these are just plugged into the splitter that plugs into the highbeam/ bi xenon location.

I believe Aussie John is also running these in his high beams without anything as he was the one who posted about it first so I gave it a try. Not sure if having the mopar harness is why I didnt need the extra resistors or not though.

Better off going with DDM Tuning. $89 shipped on Amazon and plug and play. Guys have tons of problems with morimoto ballasts, and they are NOT plug and play.
Not to mention overpriced.

I'm not vouching for any specific brand. You guys can use X, Y or Z brand in 35w ballasts. I'm just sharing my install and the brand I used to try and help the OP troubleshoot his install, kit or both.

But I will argue the plug and play point because it is exactly what I did. I have exactly the parts I listed. I did not wire in any resistor, resistor packs or pwm modules.

In fact I have all of those things sitting in their packages brand new. I purchased them just in case I missed something on my install. I need to sell them. Didn't need them afterall but better to have them if I did.

So just to be specific on my install.

Truck came with LED's in the tails/interior and projector headlights.

I added:

9012 HID bulb Low Beam
35w Ballast/ignitor
9006 LED High Beam. My LED bulb had a module that came with it and is installed and tucked behind the dust cap.

Then change the settings in your truck with AlfaOBD and enjoy :)
