Looking at buying a boat that weighs 7200lbs.
My 1500 is set up with trailer brakes and a 4:10 rear end. Is it realistic to think I can tow this boat? Would have about a 300 mile drive to get the boat.

Thanks!

Snap a picture of the Gvwr on ur door, what’s it say?
The truck should pull it fine, you’re gonna feel it back there, just take ur time alow extra room to stop.
Is ur truck a 8 speed or 6 speed?
What gear ratio did it come with from the factory?
Is ur truck 4x4? - I would suggest to not try and launch that boat if ur truck is only 4x2 -and getting that thing back out of the water at the end of the day may be a chore.

Truck is an 8 speed 4x4. The build sheet on it says 4:10 gears. That's why I've been confused as it does not list that anywhere on the Ram towing specs page.

Yeah, as far as I know, the 4.10 is only a 2500/3500 option and never appeared on the 1500. Also, a good question about if that weight includes the trailer? 7200# total weight is pushing it but may be doable. A couple thousand additional pounds for a trailer and I say no way.
