And if they do, how do I delete it?

ASS = Auto Stop Start.

Already planning a MDS Delete, might as well get rid of that crap as well if it's there

I think you'll see the option on your window sticker. I know mine doesn't have it and it's a Bighorn "North" edition with Tow Package and Package 2.

Perfect, nothing I hate more than that stuff

Window Sticker says it doesn't have it, thank God

Actually, it's not bad. Due to the Etorque it starts back up in a jiffy and it is smart enough not to engage it if it needs to heat or cool the cab. The only time I disable it is stop-and-go traffic. Here it does not really make sense.

How do you plan to delete the MDS? I wouldn’t mind deleting mine to be honest with ya but even after my factory warranty’s up, I got MaxCare takin’ over for the rest of the truck’s life after that.

Tune initially, then when there's a kit (and cams), that route

I disabled it on my wife's Jeep cause it sucks.
It would have been a deal breaker if my Laramie had come with it.
I'm all for better mileage but I think there must be better ways to attain it...

Ill spare you the politics, but it's part of the plan w/all this ASS and hybrid and electric push

Talking to a dude at the dealership the other day he said the new Wrangler's with a manual have stop/start! He said when you grab the clutch from a stop it fires up as soon as you touch the clutch. No way I could get use to that...

Wow, yeah that would be difficult to get used to.

There's a plug you pull on the Wrangler so you can get rid of the ass

Yeah, there is a button you push to disable it on my wife's Jeep Compass but I always forget, so I unplugged the sensor to the secondary ASS battery.
She's happier now too and ,as we all know, that's what's important...
