Turn signal help

I picked up a 1988 w100 the other day and have been having trouble the passenger side front turn signal it dosent blink when i turn the right turn signal the tail light gets brighter but dosent blink the indicator on the dash dosent light up ether but the drivers side works fine any help would be appreciated i need to get this working so i can pass va inspection i already put a new bulb in

Check all your bulbs. If one is corroded it could short something out.

try your hazard button. that way you can determine if it's the wiring/bulbs vs the turn signal cam. If the hazard button works but the turn signal doesn't you know it's the signal cam. If it also doesn't work, then start tracking the bulbs and/or connections. that'll atleast get you started.

All signals work with hazzards on except the on thats out on the front

so most likely a connection issue to the bulb rather than a central/switch issue. unfortunately, that leaves you with tracing the line back from the bulb/bulb connector.

down side is, the wire can pretty be traced all the way back into the steering column. Hopefully it's in the bulb connector or the steering harness connector.

the one thing I don't know is if the flasher relay has a side specific connection or not and if the hazard flash / relay connects into it. hopefully someone else can chime in on that one.

have you checked the grounds? the dash indicators get power from the front turn signals so if something up front is not working they won't work or if you got a dead marker light they will stay lit up the entire time you got the lights on.

Turn signal switch is bad but. Now there's another problem my truck dosent have a tilt wheel but the only switches I can find are for tilt wheels and they won't fit in my column this is what I need any one know a part number or any thing
