Hello everyone so I am looking at your experiences with you guessed it Tires. My old '96 2500 loved eating tires (still own it BTW) and the worst tire was a Cooper lasting only 11,000k miles to wear indicators, ugh. The best has been the Toyo AT lasting 19,000k. Now what I am asking is those owners with newer Rams 2010 and up 2500/3500 CTD trucks.

What Brand, Stock Size, tires are you using?
What is the mileage you are getting on those tires (longevity)?
Did you find better wear out of Highway or On/Off Road tires?
When towing do you prefer Highway or On/Off Road Tires?

Thanks for the info.

My 2011 came new with BFG Rugged Trails on it and I ruined one and bought a new tire to match and had it and the spare put on the rear. The front ones, original to the truck started to crack at 65,000 miles and had to be replaced. I just put Rugged Trails back on it.

Highway tires will always last more miles than all terrain tires. If you don’t do much off road, get some highway tires. If you drive a good amount on trails/unpaved roads then it would be worth it to get less miles out of all terrains

Yeah, the Rugged Trails are a middle the road between a hwy tire and an aggressive off road tire, but I like the longevity of them. Next time I need tires I might try a set of Firestone MT2 tires; even though they are a mud terrain I read a review of a guy getting 50,000+ miles out of a set on his diesel 4x4. My son put a set of MT2s on his 2016 3500 4x4 w/ 6.4 hemi and he seems to like them real well so far.

I made he mistake of buying Cooper Discoverer ATs for my Dakota once.
I liked the traction, but I lived on a gravel road at the time and got less than 20,000 miles out of them...
