Changed out headlight bulbs with Hikari LED conversion kit and Hikari anti-flickering decoder. Look brighter, but I'll see the truth once it gets dark here tonight. Working on uploading pics.

been away from mopar for a while, working on the wifes Chevelle. but a deal I couldn't pass up came up. browsing craigslist is the devil... anyway, bought my 72 D100 a new engine, 5.9 magnum with 99,000 miles. it was attached to an a518 as well as the rest of a 2002 Ram 2500. gotta pull the motor next weekend and tear into it. doesn' t need it but I like a 'clean slate'. would like to keep the factory EFI but will be putting on some RT heads and cams so will likely be going with Fitech.

if your good with wiring you may be better off making the 2002 harness work. the computer is tuneable for any parts you can put on plus the MPFI will likely work just as good if not better than the Fitech. plus i doubt that 46RE will work without the pcm unless it is a 46RH that is usually only found in the 90-95 trucks/vans. you can order a hotwire harness for about $1k but makes it simpler for you.

I'll be rebuilding one of my 46rh for this application, no 46 RE for me. Just finishing the wifes TH350 rebuild so that's next on the to do list.

I really do want to keep the MPFI but my understanding is that with cams/heads the good old handheld tuners won't do. that is, I'll have to trailer the truck over for a dyno tune. Is my assumption correct? I have little computer knowledge but can tune the crap out of a carburetor so any info appreciated.

changed out the hall effects sensor on the 89. seems like it is running a bit better overall along with the inline fuel pump. somethings still may not be 100% right but still seems better than it was.

Replaced the high pressure power steering hose, the hose developed a pretty big leak last weekend.

you want to do the one on my 89 also lol. mine has had a slow leak for a couple years now. now the big new leak is the pitman arm seal. service manual makes it sound like a easy repair but i guess we will see lol.

Yeah, I'll be right over lol. I've got a couple small leaks on the truck that I'm putting off as well but this one was spraying everything on the drivers side of the engine bay

lol. i am guessing you also have a rear main seal leak also lol. that is a normal also. at least these are pretty easy to do that line on. the magnum engines are worse to try replacing the line on. i think i had to remove the entire power steering pump just to get the line out of it. it is a lot easier to get at the lines on the non magnum engines.

nice trucks. never been a fan of them newer style rims
