Need catch can for a 6.4. Feel free to show me what your using.

Apparently all I need is a small filter element and a cap off plug.

My understanding is there’s no way to put a catch can on the 6.4.

Looks like only one vent for entire engine. That's a 15mm line and it can mount to the air intake box.

Give it a shot and let us know how it turns out. I haven’t looked into it enough to speak intelligently about it.

Others have asked the same question. So far,,,the post, tech feed back and vendor response is nothing available for the 6.4 2500 2018.
Could be internal plumbing??

This is what Moes said.

" Because the 6.4 truck intake manifold does not have an external pcv line to mount a catch can onto."

I don't get this. The blow by which comes out that line in the pic. Goes right back into the intake.

I get it now

From Moe's

" That is just an oil breather, not a PCV line. You can simply remove that hose and put a small breather filter on it, but very little oil, if any, should be coming through there. "

Matt Fikac

My 6.4 is at 48,000 now. When I installed that new CAI . I noted there was some oil residue in the throttle body. That line is the only source. I'll externally vent it and plug the line into the air intake.
Today I get off lightly .

Here is the other options these guys had.

Nowadays, it's a rare stock engine that can benefit from a cc. I didn't even consider installing one on my ZL1 until I hit over 750rwhp.
