Yeah I can do things like the window trick but nothing that takes the rf hub reset or anything too deep.

As long as you have the bypass hooked up correctly you should be able to make changes. As Clifford 15 mentioned it might be a good idea to send Alexy a debug log. I was able to program highline keys with my pin# but the version have is the version before this one. Still shows version 2.1.6.6 but it wasn't updated on Mar 10th. I don't let my app update until I'm sure it doesn't have any issues. Seems like lately whenever he tries to add features in one area we will get bugs in another section.

That's the same thing that happened with Autel, 2 steps forward for newer years, 3 steps back for functionality on older years. And it was always the rf hub on it also.

There is a maximum number of FOB’s you can program, right? I have one that partially quit working. Is there a way to “remove it”?

You can program 8 fobs. The alfa doesn’t have the ability to remove a fob.

How does tne AlphaOBD update? Im using a cheap Samsung Tab E and AlphaOBD and it worked to enable DRL, but i have no clue how to update as im not familiar with Android or the Google Store? My version is 2.1.6.6. Thanks.

You can have it update automatically by going into your settings menue or you can go to the Google play store and check for updates. The latest version is 2.1.6.6. There are actually two versions of 2.1.6.6 the latest version was updated on March 10th I recomend not letting it auto update. I don't update my app unless I am sure the new version doesn't have any bugs.

On Premium EVIC Cluster upgrades. Has anybody found which option (if any) gives just the "RAM" display? Not Laramie, Longhorn, etc....Just "RAM"?

Upgraded the cluster on my Tradesman and would like the splash screen to display RAM. Don't wanna be false advertising with those high falutin' Longhorns and Laramies.

What year is your truck? If you go to vehicle configuration #1 special packages and the vehicle config #2 special packages you will have a list to chose from. It's all explained in the first post of this thread under known codes. That being said the speedometer should just automatically boot to the regular screen since you have a Tradesman. What screen is it booting up with?

Blank bootup. I can change it to Longhorn, Laramie and Ram 1500. I'd prefer it just say Ram

I don't think there was an option for them to just say Ram that I have seen. Usually the base model trucks just have the ramhead come up on the screen. What year is the speedometer and what year is the truck?

When I upgraded my evic it automatically had the 2500 HD pop up. The first boot up said Laramie I shut it off opened the door and turned the key and it automatically switched to 2500HD. I have a 2500HD Tradesman.

Any idea on how to get rid of the PWM on the led park lights? I’m doing a retrofit and was able to eliminate the flicker on my led projectors by switching them to HID with the Alfa, but my diode dynamics switchback boards are giving me a random flickering on the park lamps. Turns work fine. They were already set to led since I have factory projectors, so I was going to switch it non led and see what happens. Little hope that’ll work though.

It’s under CBC features in car configuration change called led front park/marker lamps. Good luck. I had the diode dynamics switchback boards and went through 5 sets of drivers they kept sending me before I threw in the towel on those things. I tried everything.

I just received my software through Google Play and as I was scanning through it I did not see a 2018 computer module? Does it appear when I Bluetooth with my 2018 Ram? Thanks for the help.

Yes, I used the 2017 body control module and it scanned in as the 2018 when you connect.
