Morimoto headlights

All I wanna know is since I have my drl’s turned on already, do I need to fuse tap or anything or just plug everything in and go. Guess we’ll find out soon

You have quads correct? I thought someone said earlier that we cant turn on drl cause I dont think we would have that wire running to our quad headlights. I could be wrong tho. Anybody else have any input on this?

DRL on quads is not to the dedicated DRL circuit on these lights.

Like 0212353 said, these DRLs are looking to be run aff of the dedicated DRL circuit. Quad headlight equipped trucks use the high beam circuit at reduced power as DRLs, and don’t have the correct wires run to the headlight connectors. If you don’t want to use the fuse tap to run the DRLs, the two dedicated DRL wires can be added to the front end connector under the fuse box. This would also require you to either have the dealer change the DRL sales code from quads to projectors, or use the AlfaOBD to change the DRL settings.

If your radio doesn’t have a setting to toggle off the DRLs, then yes, you would want the sales code removed. Otherwise the new headlight’s DRLs will be running concurrently with your high beam DRLs.

I will let you know if do able with quads. I had M2MODS make wires to install in plug for dedicated drl's, will install those and hook up, move my drl's to dedicated, and see if they work like projectors.
Won't be till next week at earliest, hoping for lights to move today or tomorrow.
So probably late next week, or weekend project.

I can't remember if yours went FedEx or USPS. But......all should head out of ATL today, I think is the plan.

USPS is stupid......last time I sent labels to TRS to ship.......USPS didn't update anything for days. One guy had his lights before USPS updated anything.
