Sounds to me, though I don't have the pulsar yet, that you may need to update it.

That’s what I thought but I just got the pulsar Monday and was told they have they have the newest update, but that could still be the issue

Are you seeing the Pulsar level displayed numerically when pressing the cruise control +/- buttons? If so, yours is running the old software. The upgrade process is quick & easy w/ the available update cable.... which will come in handy when future updates are released.

Yeah it’s showing the number with a + after it

On a positive note, the cable is much cheaper now. I bought mine as soon as they were available & was less than thrilled to pay $60 shipped for something that should have come w/ the Pulsar.

True true. It should come with it that’s ridiculous, I’ve tuned many cars and all the tuners came with a cable

This is why I've held off, waiting for stock to include the latest update, so I don't have to mess with buying the cable, updating, etc. But it's taking so long I might just go the Diablo route.

Has anyone tested the tire size and gear ratio calibration with GPS to see if it's accurate? I have the correct tire size and
gear ratio set and my speedo is fast by 3 mph according to GPS....

Tweak the tire size incrementally until your speed matches GPS.

I’m leaning toward unlocked pcm and tuner. I wish someone would could custom tune the pulsar as I don’t want to be down if I send my pcm out to be unlocked. Can you lock the truck in 8th gear on the 8spds still with the pulsar since the mds doesn’t actually get shut off?

Very pleased w/ mine. Coming up on 18k miles since install, no issues. That said, if I wasn't concerned about voiding a lifetime warranty I would have opted for an unlocked PCM. Hopeful Edge will come through w/ custom tune capability for the Pulsar.

I thought I would give an update on the Edge Pulsar that I installed in my ram 2500 6.4 hemi. I mainly bought it for the economy mode, after a week of running around town it looks like it increased my gas mileage only about a 1/2 mile per gallon and on the highway driving that I did I did not see any marginal increase. I will say while, while driving, I did switch to performance mode and and what a difference it made in the truck. You could feel it kick in and the truck would take off. But since I mainly bought it for the economy mode to hopefully increase my gas mileage I did send it back because I did not think it was worth the money for a 1/2 a mile per gallon increase but if I drove it for performance I would’ve definitely kept the edge pulsar.
