7 year unlimited mileage coverage.

Beautiful ride.... I'd be afraid too. Just curious - I know they did away with the lifetime warranties. I didn't realize there was an unlimited mileage plan offered. Is this Ram factory backed or 3rd party?

It is FCA backed. I was ticked about the loss of the lifetime but this I think may be better as at the end on the lifetime they begin covering only up to the worth of the truck which gets pretty limiting in my opinion after 7 years. While this one stays bumper to bumper 100% right up to the last day. Also in Montana say a 7 year 125,000 mile warranty is pretty worthless.

That is a fine looking truck. Two questions. Did they expect it to take 3 months to build? Did the mud flaps come on the truck or did you add them?

Nobody knew how long. Mud flaps were put on at the dealership.

As I tracked it, and observed others, I think the biggest hang up is transporting the finished product. Hence where you are in the US makes a big difference and accounts for a lot of the wide variation in time from order to your home. The other thing of course is if they have a disruption in a supply chain so certain trucks with certain options get held up. Given that mine had so many options it could have been particularly vulnerable.

A small update. Finally the Ram went on its maiden voyage. My take at this time comparing it to my 2011 F 150 eco SC. This truck is 50% quieter. Rides 50% better. The seats are much more comfortable. The tech really works. I have never had rain sesnitive wipers before, man what a saver on drizzle on drizzle off days like today.

MPG just about the same. We will see what it does as it breaks in. Still I can't figure out why, if you get a 3.92 rear end they don't make the 8th gear higher so you can get your RPM below 2000. Who cares if you have to tow in 7th.

Don't forget to wipe your feet, wash your hands and change into clean clothes before you get in. Also make sure you put a coaster in the cupholder so the drinks don't leave a ring. What am I saying. Finish your drink before you get in. Lol. Nice truck.

On my 14 the cup holders have coasters in them already, I like the auto wipers, heated steering wheel is the best, you down south guys may not understand that, never been a fan of sunroofs. The Wife's CRV is so old school, I keep forgetting to turn the light s on , and have to use a key for god's sakes.
My truck is easier to park than her CRV .
BTW up here, in Ca , just a bit up the road from you, a truck never leaves a lot without mud flaps on them, You pay of coarse, although I have had them included if they are in a dealing mood, and if they aren't , we don't make a deal. But I have never ordered a truck

Love them. Have them on my last 3 vehicles and while they're a luxury, they start to feel more like a necessity.

Still I can't figure out why, if you get a 3.92 rear end they don't make the 8th gear higher so you can get your RPM below 2000. Who cares if you have to tow in 7th.

Why did you get 3.92s? I got them for more power and better acceleration, and understood that came at a price. BTW, did you ever drive a 3 speed?
