my 8.4 radio w/nav freezes during boot up..it happens about 80% of the time. Anyone else experience this?

Take the ice pack off of it, put the heater on high, sit in the sun....

Warranty? Should be covered by 3/36, but have no idea your situation..have not had this issue...yet..

Both 8.4's I've had have done this. Annoying and no cure that I've been able to find

Have you tried doing the soft reset using the a/c buttons. Can't remember how I did it, but think you hold hot and cold ac buttons at same time until engineering menu comes up.

Yea I tried multiple times.. I was told it’s orobably a loose mmc chip on the main board which has to be soldered on
