Swapped front differential, transfer case and engine oils. Couldn't do the rear because I don't have a hex large enough for the drain. Thanks again to Nick at gotexhaust for the hookup on redline!

Also had some time to wash and wax my truck. I love how a black truck shines! But I sure hate cleaning it all the time.

Not a bad idea at all... Ordered and on the way.

Oh, and the reason why I was under the hood today? Seems a suicidal deer bounced off the grille (managed to get almost to a dead stop, and it bounded up and away) - cracked the chromed grille frame, and scared the crap out of the missus.

So... I reached under the shed today, dragged out the original grille from last year (that had the broken honeycomb insert from an owl I collided with back then), removed the honeycomb inserts from the new grille w/ the busted frame, and franken-parted myself a whole new intact grille... fortunately, it all polished out and looks great.

On the plus side, I can finally/fully justify a grille guard with the wife. :)

Tried the wood block, tried hitting it with the weight of another rim and tire. She is fused.

Hopefully you saw those actually kick off center a tiny bit and made a fixture based on the originals to accommodate the few degrees. (Saw someone make that mistake and laughed my a$$ off.)
Yeah I make jigs out of all original parts so they line up.

The day I took it home my 2019 1500 Classic a month ago on top, and how it looks now. I’ve gotten it leveled, added front and rear mud guards, put on 35s with Terra Grappler 2’s, added leather interior, new front grill, chrome delete on the bumpers as well as a muffler delete.

Finally got around to removing the badges.
I plan on color matching wiper arms, antenna base and engine cover next chance I get.

What method did you use to do the chrome delete on the bumpers?

Went hunting this weekend, the beast got a little muddy in the process.

Edit: Anybody know a good way to get those black running boards really clean? Can't ever seem to get the dirt off of them.

Picked up a brand new extang solid fold 2.0 bed cover for $300. Did the deal at 9 at night. Little sketchy but all is good 20190505_212924.jpg 20190505_212913.jpg 20190505_212924.jpg 20190505_212913.jpg

Please post pics, I am interested in seeing the wiper arms when you are finished.

Heya! I'm here brother, just grinding thru my list of non-truck projects. Gotta get that driveway done before the Texas heat hit us.

Used the truck to buy 3 new pulleys, 12 new bearings, and 3 sharpened blades. Would it have killed Bad Boy to use a little anti-seize !? :biggun:
